Call me a cynic, but I’m not sure that Rodney Dangerfield actually performed the Triple Lindy high dive in that one movie with the kid from Christine.

Anyone who doesn't think we had autistic kids back in the day didn't know the kids I knew in elementary school, the ones that were called "hyper" or "spastic" or were suspected of having "water on the brain," etc. Kids today are a lot better off with a formal diagnosis and treatment.
