I don't know if I can speak for the entire city of Montreal, but good riddance to Gad Saad. To the fine people of Mississippi... try to ignore him.

How many different kinds of bigotry can u spot in this vile AI post that gad Saad is so pleased with, I count at least 3-4

BTW, even though it's a gift link, NYT still forces you to "log in" with them and then makes it look like you still need to subscribe to read the article. You don't. Scroll to the bottom for "Continue without subscribing."

Friction is good, but pseudoscientists don’t want it. Large language models (Claude, ChatGPT) give them the illusion of wisdom w/o any of the friction required to achieve it. The goal is not to be right but to earn respectability by cutting corners.

The Canadian government started using an AI-based translation tool to cut costs. 🎶 What could possibly go wrong?? 🎶 “Cum.[ulative] growth” became “Sperme croissance” and “TB [Translation Bureau” became “Tuberculose.” ici.radio-canada.ca/nouvelle/229...

While rich people and nations try to save as much money so they can stuff it in their pockets, the quality of our world decreases. Skilled people get replaced by crappy digital tools that are seen as "good enough." This is not the future we were promised....

Also, season 3 of the podcast is now called "The Reincarnation Records," which confirms that this entire thing is one journalist going "I used to be a skeptic" and turning the X-Files into her own gravy train.

"I had several people ask me if I have second thoughts about my berry consumption in light of a swarm of news stories about some pesticide residues in Driscoll berries 'exceeding Canada’s safety standards.' "To cut to the chase, I’m not concerned." 👇 www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/...

My article this week will briefly touch upon the use of AI to cut corners when pretending to be a reporter. Poll: does this sound like AI wrote it? “My own coordinates sit inside the same grammar.”

These people aren't even hiding it anymore. You no longer need a decoder ring.

The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead: www.ispot.tv/ad/SoDi/micr...

Great piece on the dark side of *injecting yourself with experimental drugs you bought online*, with a very well observed conclusion. 👇

"This wrecks some of our lives," Dylan told me about his experience w/the peptide BPC-157. He wasn't alone. There are entire chat rooms of people who say they've been harmed. Their voices are muffled in MAHA hype. My latest @kffhealthnews.org / @washingtonpost.com kffhealthnews.org/public-healt...

The fact that Andrew Huberman can simply point to the disclaimer on his website ("this is not medical advice!") and shrug off responsibility should worry all of us. These people are building parallel institutions with little oversight. They want to play doctor w/o regulations.

"It’s just a tool" "It saves $ so you can create more projects & hire more people" "It makes the movie better" "Others are using it: I want to be competitive" I wonder if audiences will care enough to boycott or will just shrug and go along (my prediction). variety.com/2026/digital...

Now that I've regained the ability to speak and type, there is an echo of this in the right-wing wellness movement: the rehabilitation of nicotine. It is natural, after all, and we've been lied to before, right? So... nicotine good??? Unbelievable.
