We are living the climate crisis and governments want us to put an emergency break on legislation? Instead of doing everything they can to save our civilization? Thinking we can delay action is the biggest lie of them all. thebiggestlie.wedonthavetime.org

thebiggestlie.wedonthavetime.orgThe Biggest Lie Ever Told Is Only Four Words LongNot carbon dioxide. A lie, spoken calmly in parliaments and boardrooms, only four words long.

Look at these curves. Now you see why fossil fuel interests are fighting so hard to slow the transition. Every new electric car chips away at their future oil profits.

My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

I’m actively searching out solutions that are not linked to US Big Tech. Being on W is part of that journey. Here are some other options 👇

Digital sovereignty is no longer optional. Europe, the UK, Canada, Australia and Japan already offer alternatives to US Big Tech. #DigitalSovereignty #BuyEuropean

Natural capital, such as water, forests and wetlands, is economic infrastructure. Protecting and restoring ecosystems is an investment in economic resilience, future prosperity and competitiveness, says Executive Board member Frank Elderson link.europa.eu/WRJQmg

Every single person who bought Tesla stock five years ago and has been holding it is a loser. No dividends. No stock buybacks. Zero asset appreciation in five years. Meanwhile the S&P 500 index fund is up 65% over the same period.

If resilience is to mean anything, it cannot be designed behind closed doors. Communities need transparent information, democratic participation, and the resources to prepare for a future where ecological collapse is at risk. Gary Champion reports

My thoughts. To quote Geniuses, “There are too many people making too many problems.” Instead of division and discord, we should be coming together to find solutions to the issues facing society today. We need unity, common sense and cooperation, not polarising politics that drive us further apart.

Good to see someone saying this. Trans people deserve love, not disrespect.

Kansas Dem Sen. nominee Adam Hamilton on trans rights: “I don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself”

I’m really worried about America - this is all levels of wrong 👇

Homeland Security agents knocked on doors in nine states asking people about voting. Some carried guns. Nurses sued. A federal judge ordered DHS to stop until the polls close. Trump’s regime needed a court order to quit scaring voters. Think about that.

I really hope W Social takes off. Many of us are tired of the American social media giants, with their fake accounts, bots and toxic debate. We need a space where people can come together constructively, share knowledge, exchange ideas and inspire each other to build a fairer, greener future.

You are up to date.
