Micro SaaS week two: TeamDues Paste the roster, set the fee, send every family a payment link. Reminders do the chasing so the coach doesn't have to. Last week I never flipped the switch. This week the checkout takes real cards. www.joshfinnie.com/blog/micro-s...

trimmed my beard an inch and a half and am already getting carded at bars. what is this madness... it's still fully gray! 🤣🤣🤣

working on a couple of microsaases this weekend really shows me the power that i have been missing from claude code. the fact that neon.tech, stripe.com, and impeccable.style have skills or MCPs that exist really brings the power of AI into your fingerprints. it's wild!

lol, i cannot use my hp printer on my windows machine because i do not have location turned on. what the actual fuck is that? i am so mad...

the blog post on BragBoard.dev is live! this is my first microsaas of October. Go read about it here: www.joshfinnie.com/blog/micro-s... (Also, if you are a developer go try BragBoard!)

Every review cycle I forget half of what I shipped. So I built Bragboard: jot down a win in a sentence, it asks the follow-up questions a good reviewer would, then writes it up. It never invents a fact. Every line traces back to something you said. bragboard.dev

really proud of this post. go and read it... let me know what you think! www.joshfinnie.com/blog/ai-made...

What in the world is this? what a wild idea... AI-powered Alpha Schools expands to 50 campuses www.axios.com/2026/08/02/a...

this is a wild statistic for a "major" city... > By the numbers: In Mecklenburg County, 94.2% of households have at least one car, according to U.S. Census data. Only 5.8% have none.

I know I am probably weird for this take, but I am not a huge fan of hardcover books. So excited to get this ordered and to have and to hold!

my partner and I are having a little staycation. we're playing the any% "love a house on Ugliest House in America" speed run. I might be winning...

explored using impeccable.style for my blog and wrote up my thoughts. read it here! www.joshfinnie.com/blog/what-im...

Looks Like Cheating to Win an Election…..

for all the shit I give Universe Beyond card in Magic, this is going to be a $1,000 card easily! I don't like it, but game knows game... #mtg

Looks like PNC updated their perfectly fine online banking experience to something that is incredibly slow and a pain to work with :-/

i think the announcers are warm in LA this afternoon... they've only said it's hot there 1000x so far. #worldcup

looking to write a blog post of "prompts that get production ready code" anyone have any examples they'd like to share? I'll link your site back as attribution.

gotta love when the second most expensive card is a UB card with limited reprint ability. cool... #mtg www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/7865896...

everyone loves the ABS in MLB games, but I'm here for the catcher -> pitcher communication that allows us to see each type of pitch thrown. that's so cool!
