Badenoch saying that when she left university in 2003 there was a choice of jobs, who was in government at that time? Oh, it was Labour.

Chances are he will make himself unavailable for along as he can, pre-arranged holiday, overseas business commitments, urgent party commitments, 24 hour flu etc. It's in his nature.

Pre-Brexit the French used to send across thunderstorms during hot , dry spells. Doesn't seem to happen these days, something else that Farage can be blamed for.

For the second time in about a week I have had a flash mob of damsel flies in the garden. Never had them around before, or not in these quantities, have a few dragonflies but not in this quantity! Unfortunately they flew too fast to get a good picture.

The news silly season has returned! With media impartiality rules, should the Clacton by election go ahead Count Bin Face is going to have the same coverage as Farage in the weeks up to the election. Can also see a comedy film in this too, could be out in time for Christmas!

Zia Yusuf just said on #r4today that he has been in politics for the past two years - he is not an MP or councillor. Rather conflicts with Farage's claim that he was not in politics before June 2024 because he was not running to be elected and just the President of a political party.

In the news coverage this morning the transfer of LD and Green votes to Labour is being ignored and that perhaps the result should not be seen as a mandate for Burnham to go for PM, but more that people do not want Reform anywhere near the levers of power.

What's the chances of Farage turning up for PMQs tomorrow, or will he give it a miss as he is such a delicate flower and will not be able to take the inevitable criticism of his reaction to the Henry Nowack case?

Since when has it been considered acceptable for a state to detain people outside their national borders, take them back to their territory, treat those persons in a humiliating manner and then hold a show trial in order to deport them?

Can MPs and the media stop spending all the time on things past and get on with matters that effect the Country and the public now, or will in the future. It is not as if there is nothing going on in the world.

Isn't there anything happening in the world today? The media seem to be having to waffle on and speculate on the investigation of a former prince to fill their time.

Why are the media making a big thing out of a self-confessed phone hacker calling for an investigation into something that a letting agent omitted to do for their client? #bbcnews #skynews

Why are the #BBC televising an hour of #Farage peddling unsubstantiated and unfounded claims whilst failing to answer the questions put to him? Would they do this for any other political party?

Have I just been unlucky, but every time I watch a #thehundred game the result is obvious about half way through the second innings. Glad I am not paying to get shortchanged on the number of balls!

The Israeli government and IDF continue to give two fingers to the international community. Words are no longer enough, trade and possibly financial sanctions should be imposed immediately.

Depressingly repetitive morning news story of deaths at an aid distribution centre in Gaza, with the usual conclusion to the report of the "IDF are yet to comment". Do they ever comment and are their excuses ever questioned by the media or politicians? If so, I have never heard it. 1/2

How much more of this does there need to be before real action is taken by the international community, or are they worried that Netanyahu and his allies will try and link it with the Iran situation.

Why are politicians so bad at failing to follow best practice for the use of messaging systems in the conduct of their work, they expect others to have policies on its use and happy to see firms fined millions by regulators for failing to do so? Both the COVID enquiry in the UK and latest in USA 1/

Reveal similar failings, inter alia the use of an insecure messaging system with lack of a recorded audit trail, possible use of personal phones for conduct of work and sending messages without giving thought to how they might be perceived at a later date should it become public.
