Not to be "cringe" or "basic" or "having a sincerely positive feeling about something", but I really enjoyed the Oscar ceremony. Almost every movie I thought deserved recognition got some, Conan was funny, it was nice to have a few hours to focus on something besides psychopathic politicians. Bravo.

Pretty sure I’ve never not teared up hearing “Defying Gravity.” Tonight’s rendition at the Oscars was no exception. Wow.

⚡️Canada imposes new sanctions against Russia. Canada introduced new sanctions on March 2 against 10 Russian individuals and 21 entities. The sanctions target military leaders, post-Wagner paramilitary groups, and affiliated organizations involved in resource extraction.

As someone who spends a lot time thinking about the values I want to teach my kid (besides PLEASE DON’T EAT DIRT), the thing I keep coming back to is this: I want him to believe that the strongest, bravest thing he can do is give a shit about other people—especially ones who aren’t like him at all.

Trump is NOT leading. He's hurting Americans out of pure spite. That's not being a president; it's being a thug, and it's abuse of power. The 25th Amendment covers this: "The president must be removed from office if they are unable to carry out their constitutional duties due to poor judgment."
