As your Green Party London Assembly Member, I’ll make sure the Mayor and TfL keep listening to all Londoners as they tweak the details of how the Oxford Street pedestrianisation works out so it is inclusive and accessible to all.

Government support for drilling at #Jackdaw takes a wrecking ball to any pretence of UK climate leadership & pours fuel on an overheating world - and for what? It’s equivalent to just 2 months of UK gas demand, creates just 27 direct jobs & has *no* impact on energy bills🧵1/4

We’re relying on a housing model built around delivering more market-rate homes and investment opportunities, rather than homes Londoners can actually afford to live in. The Mayor needs to change course. We can’t solve London’s housing crisis by treating housing primarily as an asset to invest in

A photography work assignment has taken me through the Woolwich foot tunnel. Good to see counter weights and cables ready for installation at the north lift. People who use this tunnel to get to work or Uni of east London will be relieved. #WoolwichFootTunnel #ActiveTravel

I told the planning board that affordable housing & family homes were not enough when we have a 28k waiting list. 3% down from 8% in the Third Addendum. Cllr Smith conveyed concerns from Creekside Discovery Centre & the carbon footprint is another concern. greenwichwire.co.uk/2026/10/14/d...

If Zack wins, Burnham will be forced to deliver on his promises for water nationalisation, and he'll have to scrap North Sea drilling. Holborn and St Pancras, #BackZack!

A very long day but an amazing evening listening to residents as we head into the final day of campaigning. Rent controls, water nationalisation and tackling the climate crisis. Come campaign with us tomorrow! linktr.ee/HSP_6thGreenMP

🚨 New research by us! 📣 Most British drivers don't know how dangerous SUVs are to other road users, but adding information to SUV marketing materials seems to do almost nothing to change people's plans to buy SUVs Here's a 🧵 on why harder action is going to be needed 1/10

Silvertown tunnel yearly report. It’s good to see all new bus services are zero emission at the tail pipe, but a lot more to look at such as the bike bus with only 100 -130 users a day, averaging only one bike & cyclist per bus. Why not repurpose a tunnel bore? #ActiveTravel #cargobikes #cyclists

The government’s action on illegal Israeli settlements is long overdue, but action must go much further. The UK must stop supplying arms to Israel, including F-35 components, and end its complicity in the genocide.

Your 13 Green councillors have been hard at work scrutinising Greenwich‘s Local Plan and I’m relieved our response is now in! Time to relax (just a bit!) with some urban nature photography (Sunflowers in shadow of St Alfeges planted by local volunteers). #UrbanNature #Wildlife #Greenwich

I knew today was going to be big. I didn’t know we’d have so many volunteers that we’d leaflet the ENTIRE constituency in just two hours (!!) - 80,000 leaflets. And we got to speak to so many people on their doorsteps. This is how we win this campaign. Thank you, everyone. 🙏🏽

Spoke with @lbc.co.uk earlier about Heathrow expansion and the concerns of the cross party Transport Committee about the impact on public transport and local roads of many more people trying to access an expanded airport. (Quite apart from my personal view that airport expansion is not ok).

Following the #AssemblyTransport Chair's statement on the proposed Heathrow expansion, LBC news invited Caroline Russell AM on air to discuss. You can read the statement in full here: www.london.gov.uk/who-we-are/w...

ULEZ was never a crack down on people driving, always a push for better respiratory health. 🚗 💨 “Examinations of London schoolchildren before and after the introduction of the city’s ultra-low emission zone (Ulez) found a restoration of lung capacity […] stunted by exposure to pollution”.
