Everyone who cares about ethics, science, and babies should read this article re unethical researchers with a track record of being against vaccines teaming up with RFK Jr (well known anti-science, anti-vaccine person of questionable integrity) taking advantage of people in a low resource country.

How could atrocities like the Tuskegee Experiment been allowed to happen? Thanks to MAHA, and reporters like @katherineeban.bsky.social and @melodyschreiber.com, none of us have to wonder such things anymore. My latest.

We know—from robust evidence—that the hep B vax birth dose protects against infection, liver disease, liver cancer, & early death We also know that in a country with a very high prevalence of hep B, you’re consigning a high proportion of the babies in the “no birth dose” group to these outcomes

In case this isn’t clear, the hepatitis B vaccine has been rigorously studied and is incredibly safe and effective. The infants who could be harmed in this study are *actual human beings* that are *incredibly vulnerable* and being sacrificed *pointlessly* by these ghouls.

When members of the IRB that reviewed a study are resigning in protest because they recognize the unethical design of the study and the avoidable harm it will cause, maybe it is a sign to no proceed with said study. Great reporting in the guardian. www.theguardian.com/society/2026...

More proclamations from RKK Jr. As usual ill-informed and half truths and still focused on what he feels were wrong decisions during the height of COVID hospitalizations and deaths It’s going to take yrs to fix all of the harms his stupidity has caused www.beckershospitalreview.com/healthcare-i...

beckershospitalreview.comRFK Jr: AI offers a ‘better informed’ second opinion than doctorsRFK offers better informed AI second opinion, stating it surpasses doctors in guiding patient care and challenging public health advice.

Why are people who are not clinicians or scientists blocking the findings of this task force? It seems as if trump, by appointing RFK Jr, has set out to permanently damage US public health and trust. It will take many years to fix all of these blunders. www.medpagetoday.com/washington-w...

As a Missourian, watching Schmitt get owned, is manna. During his tenure as Mo AG he sued schools for covid precautions. That was his only claim to fame. He’s nothing more than an opportunistic douche and deserves all the ridicule we can heap upon him.

Sen. Cassidy says measles surge will be Trump administration’s ‘terrible legacy’ More accurately, It will be Cassidy’s legacy since he, as a physician, knew RFK Jr had a long record of anti vaccine activities and no knowledge of science, medicine, or public health.

I had that happen to me several times by male physicians at conferences. My nurse scientist friends likewise report this phenomenon. (Not a male or physician hater; have quite a few of both in my family). It certainly takes some confidence to do something like that.

Many children and US public health in general will be harmed. Thanks to professional organizations like American Academy of Pediatrics @ameracadpeds.bsky.social who are leading with evidence instead of politics. Trump dives headfirst back into vaccine minefield www.axios.com/2026/08/11/t...

axios.comTrump dives headfirst back into vaccine minefieldThe new order suggests Trump isn't through with ordering significant changes after being stalled by courts.

Great example (albeit unintended) of his tenure at the CDC. An overall negative effect on US public health.

I just noticed that if you look over cardboard Jay’s right shoulder in this shameful tableau, you can see on the video monitor that there is a memorial service for Officer David Rose going on the same day. Officer Rose tried to protect CDC employees from the man shooting at them and was killed.

Glad you posted this. Most people don’t realize how ridiculous that whole thing is.

Rand Paul is a fraud. He founded his own ophthalmology certification board, the National Board of Ophthalmology (NBO), with his wife and father-in-law as officers. His “board” isn’t recognized by the major specialty board organization or accepted by most hospitals.

Dr Fauci is a physician scientist who served our country well for many years. He did his best guiding us as Covid evidence evolved. He’s a good man. Rand Paul is misguided and vindictive. His attacks on Dr Fauci are ridiculous and confirm Rand Paul for the fool he is. A small man with a vendetta.

This is a major cluster about to unfold and no one who can or should has the courage to stop him.

Allison Gill@muellershewrote.com

23 people could stop this genocidal war criminal. That’s it. 23. 20 Republican senators and 3 republican reps in the house and he’d be out of politics forever. But they won’t. They’re addicted to power. A drug so strong they’d rather see a civilization die than give it up.

Why don’t more journalists point this out? They likely have all of the Epstein files including videos of trump, plus other atrocities we don’t know of yet, and massive financial crimes. I’ve always thought Putin and Netanyahu were blackmailing trump. That would explain a lot of his actions.

rosebanditquinn@rosebanditquinn.bsky.social

The real problem is that we have a president who is being blackmailed by Netanyahu and Putin. Whatever it is, it must be pretty bad. Why on earth would a GOP Congress go along with this? The ultimate answer is money.

It's completely insane to me that it's even up for debate among senators that Kristi Noem should resign. Every lawmaker and newspaper editorial board in the country should be calling for her resignation. She has entirely failed in this role. She is incompetent. She is a disaster.

At least a handful of times I’ve received reviews that told me I should be familiar with my own work and cite it to make my manuscript better. I guess it’s kind of flattering. Fortunately the editors overlooked these reviewer comments.

Absolutely accurate prediction. Very tragic number of preventable deaths will occur.

Elizabeth Jacobs, PhD@elizabethjacobs.bsky.social

RFK Jr. is going to end CDC recommendations for most childhood vaccines. It will take a few years before the deaths and disabilities ramp up to a level that even the most vile Republican cannot tolerate. RFK Jr. will be long gone and unaccountable, as our babies die from preventable illness.
