SCOOP: 'Tommy' from the now-viral exchange with Abdul El-Sayed is Thomas Teepell, a former staffer for Republican Senator Josh Hawley with close ties to Christian Nationalist Sean Feucht. He's the son of a former Bobby Jindal staffer whose consultant work was instrumental in getting Hawley elected.

Cincinnati DT Josh Hough is carted off with an injury at West Virginia and only ends up in more pain after the cart backs him into a wall. As seen on the TNT Sports broadcast.

He's already going scorched earth.

If he loses both the House and Senate, Trump is probably going scorched earth for 2 years to “punish” Americans for “betraying him.”

Susan Collins really is a nasty SOB. Collins: “This is obviously one of Troy’s supporters.” Troy Jackson: “Oh, shut up. I don’t even know who that is.” Collins: “Yeah, right.” I’m sorry, but Collins can go fuck herself.

A protester yelling that data centers are "poisoning our waters!" interrupts the Collins-Jackson debate, prompting Collins to say "this is obviously one of Troy's supporters" "Oh, shut up," Jackson replies

"What will it take for you to admit you are ever wrong?" -- Troy Jackson nails Susan Collins on her vote to confirm Kavanaugh, 8 years to the day after Collins cast the vote that doomed Roe v Wade

Eight years ago today, Susan Collins voted to confirm this man despite one million red flags. She still says she doesn't regret it

Susan Collins isn’t “pro-choice”—she only pretends she is when a Republican nominee doesn’t need her vote. Me on Collins and Blanche, and Barrett and Kavanaugh, in @ballsandstrikes.org

I can’t recommend highly enough JC Bradbury’s new book “This One Will Be Different” a story & study of the economics of publicly funded sports arenas in the US. It’s a wonderful read. It will, however, cause you to lose respect for the elected officials who so readily drank Dundon’s Koolaid.

J.C. Bradbury@jcbradbury.com

Exactly. Dundon is just an asshole. It's time for Portland and Oregon leaders to stand up to this jerk. This treatment isn't worth an NBA team. You're better than this.

Tomorrow, on October 1, the biggest transfer of wealth from the working class to the wealthy hits a critical milestone. Many of the provisions from the Big Ugly Bill will go into effect, harming hundreds of thousands of Michiganders in order to create tax cuts for the richest people in America.

Jack Smith: "History teaches that the rule of law is rarely destroyed all at once. It's often weakened by attacks on the institutions and the public servants sworn to uphold it. Since January 2025, we have witnessed precisely such an effort."

🤡 Schmitt beclowns himself 🤡 Schmitt concocted an elaborate conspiracy theory that Smith traveled to Atl for a Hawks game and to collude with Fani Willis, & flashed his "evidence" before accusing Smith of perjury. There's just one problem -- his facts were totally wrong. Here's the whole sequence:

Wait, a man who drove his wife to suicide by proving how popular he is with the ladies stole money from black kids for their health to fund an entourage to prove how important he is? It's *almost* as if RFK, Jr. is a truly horrible, insecure person!
