That feeling when you post a new video after a year and it reminds people they are subscribed to you 😭 but what goes down must come up! #youtube #creator #growth #funny #sad #restart #newvideo #audience

If you could choose one device to be smart what would it be? Lights, thermostats, etc. I want to try my hand at creating some smart home devices that don't require any external internet connections and am curious what people need/want! #arduino #smarthome #esp32 #code #KEY #keep_everything_yours

Not sure how to feel about this. On the one hand I understand doing just about anything to streamline a #development process (esp. on something as large as #android) on the other closing things off leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I'd love to hear opinions 🤔 www.androidauthority.com/google-andro...

A big part of keeping everything yours is learning how things work. With a bit of insight you'll realize a lot of things don't need your data. The best way to learn in my opinion is by doing and this GitHub repo has a ton of project walk through to make things for yourself github.com/codecrafters...

If you are interested in programming and like video games (An unheard of combination!) check out this $10 bundle. I have sunk many hours into Shenzhen I/O. You build devices by using simulated hardware (MCUs, IO expanders, etc.) and program them in assembly! www.humblebundle.com/games/new-ye...

After trying everything I could think of (Hardware + Software changes) I could not get power usage for BLE on the #ESP32 below around 100ma. Switched to a #nrf52840 and with no intervention power usage is down almost 15x to 7ma. If I put it to sleep that drops another almost 70x to 100µA! So Happy!!

I have some #rustlsng examples I keep forgetting to upload to this page 😑 this repo has most of the things I learned but it's a mess to get through gitlab.com/makeitforles...

Got a case designed and printed for my open source #spotify car thing powered by the #ESP32. The knob on the side controls volume and the buttons on top do playback! Now I just need to figure out how to decorate it! I'd love to hear any ideas if you have them!! #arduino #electronics #music

Working on my open source car thing alternative since #spotify is shutting them down in a week 😞 it's running on a #ESP32. everything is working and I can play, pause, skip songs, etc. just need to make a case and it will be ready to go. Video on my YouTube with the whole process soon!!

Well I have now posted all of the videos I have made so far. If any of them look interesting or you want to learn about using the #ESP32 I'm planning to make lots more in the new year! Come check out my channel and subscribe so you don't miss them www.youtube.com/@makeit4less

One of the episodes in my upcoming #Zephyr series will cover graphics using LVGL. It’ll be pretty simple but enough to get you started. #IoT #ESP32 #embedded

I did a development exercise a 15 months ago where I created a series of I2C client devices (formerly known as I2C slaves) using the ATtiny1616. In this video, all 9 PCBs are I2C clients. The host (aka master) device was an ESP32 board running CircuitPython.
