I just read Amazing Spider-Man #1000. Couple of good stories in it, a crappy Frank Miller story (Peach Momoko art, though), and some meh. But "Still Standing" and "I Can Never Rest" (second and last stories) are superb. Got a tear over "Standing" especially.

It still saddens me that DC never collected the Superman Annuals in their hardcover Library.
