Another largely vacuous discussion about the pros and cons of AI tech that conveniently overlooks the fact that these companies are so rich because they’ve stolen £billions worth of copyrighted material from people who are on the whole, a bit skint. Twats

Man showing his neighbour around his new Isuzu D-Max: “It’s just t’ basic model, like. Wi’out all t’ alloys and shit. All t’ other models have got all fancy crap down t’ side. I haven’t bothered wi’ that. It’s fucking mint to drive”.

Just found this picture of the 'invisibility cloak' I made when I was an art student. I made it by accident when I painted a wall with latex. When I peeled the latex off it brought the surface of the wall with it. Great stuff can happen when you just piss about 👍

Today's episode features the time I saw the waxwings in this tree too. According to the note masking taped to the door, the chip shop was closed due to ill health although Peter's Computers which operated from the same building was accessible via the telephone number provided. Great days.

Archive pics on the theme of today's Round About Town episode 1. Abandoned van covered in algae 2. Dog walker's car with bags of dog muck attached to rear wipers 3. Abandoned tractor on housing estate 4. Pigeon

Today's episode features the 2011 waxwings of Ridge Close. They appeared in the rowan tree by the flats while a skinny man in a studded belt was trying to gain access by shouting Raymond. Fun times. The Round About Town podcast is available from all the usual podcast places

I'll be sharing some thoughts on the New Zealand artist Len Lye, who worked for the General Post Office Film Unit in the 1930s, making some dazzling animated shorts such as 'Rainbow Dance'.
