if you're wondering why people are frustrated at this "malfoid", ie the character "malfoy" from harry potter plus "foid", the far right incel term for women, is a dog whistle character cooked up on 4chan to poke fun at trans people and their allies who vehemently reject jk rowling and harry potter

Department of Education posting Malfoid art btw. I’m losing my mind man.

A 2025 Nobel Prize winner in chemistry, Omar Yaghi is the son of Palestinian refugees who grew up in Jordan. He just left the US to move to China after raising concerns about rising anti-immigrant sentiment, like the kind shown here. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/china-than...

RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

I was praying this was some other "Spiegelman" when I read this. To see Art turn to using AI art is disheartening to say the least. This is what happens when the product means more to you than the process. You'll do whatever it takes to get something done if "done" is all that matters to you.

Oh, shit. www.publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/...

I've struggled most of my life with intense art block because of mental health issues. Especially feeling so far behind, I've thought about giving up art over and over. But it's the process that keeps me going. Watching a drawing go from a bunch of lines to something you can be proud of is elating.

I guess this whole AI craze pisses me off, especially, because I feel like if it had launched when I was deep in art block, I'd have freely relinquished my thinking to a computer if the computer would make me feel like I've accomplished something. Which is exactly what AI tricks you into thinking.

This one I drew before, and colored after, the other one. I drew the hair, the gun/hand, and their left hand, but the rest of the pose I think I copied from the official Kris art by Temmie, as well as the colors, as previously stated.

This is a weird one, but I really like it. I've been trying to learn to use color more and this was just all practice. The colors are pulled from @tuyoki.bsky.social Kris concept art. Deltarune is bound to take over my life again when Chapter 6 releases. Haha.

Today's study material: @bensears.bsky.social Young Shadow. Finally read these last night and, as always, was blown away by Ben Sears' work. His style is so beautifully "simple," not that it lacks complexity, but that it conveys its information beautifully in a way that feels effortless.

Emphasis on "Feels" effortless. The simplicity is extremely deceptive of how much work I'm certain goes into these drawings. Also check out freebensears.com and you can pick up these books and a bunch more stuff.

I got super-hyperfixated on Deltarune earlier this year (I think right after Chapter 5 dropped) and drew a bunch of stuff. I really wanted to lock in a design for December before she may or may not show up.

Some old art, circa 2022, I think? These are some old DnD characters I was developing and I just really liked how they came out. Especially at the time, when I felt really down on my art, these helped me realize I could make stuff I'm proud of. More info in Alt Text. #dnd #illustration #digitalart

I guess I'll start this off with my profile picture and banner. Whipped them up over the last few days, just playing around with colors (something I have little practice with) and some old drawings. I like how they came out.

You are up to date.
