Chuck Schumer once told diabetic patient advocates that “insulin prices will not be capped while I’m in office. Not over my dead body.” Schumer can fight - but only when it benefits his billionaire donors at the expense of the rest of us.

If your body makes insulin for free but you believe diabetics should pay hundreds of dollars for insulin to stay alive, congratulations - you’re an ableist asshat. Insulin should be free to diabetics like it is for everyone else. Happy Wednesday!

Sometimes for brief moments I forget I have type 1 diabetes but those are very brief and only because I have ADHD and things distract me easily
