We need information as to what Rowley said as a ‘defendant’ in, presumably the civil case against the Met that Linda Williams has to bring and yes - ‘had to bring’ to get any kind of justice and reparations as to the significant damage she has suffered. Time to lift the lid on the court transcript

www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... I have cried watching the clips of Linda talking about her rape & the severe impact it has had on her life. Carrick stole her life - her future and the Met police has the temerity to question her PTSD? Fuck off Met police & thank you beautiful Linda. Right. Action x

bbc.co.ukMet detective raped by fellow officer says police handling 'like being raped all over again'Linda Williams was attacked by David Carrick, who was jailed in 2023 for sexual offences against 12 women.

We always say ‘enough is enough’ but how do we turn that into action? A serving police officer who was raped by another serving police officer was then subsequently humiliated and destroyed all over again. This is unconscionable.

Spoiler alert on a subject very trivial: I’m not a lawyer but re Coronation Street, why has Gary ended up in prison for 8 months when Sarah was found not guilty? Due to the early release programme, he should be out by next Friday but nevertheless, what a ridiculous scenario

I’ve struggled to make the leap from watching the last episode of slow horses to ITVX to watch the latest episode of Corrie (and I’m a big Corrie fan) but I’m left with the question as to why are we not removing anybody from society who watches anything featuring Michael McIntyre? So many red flags

www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... Based on the reports I’m seeing on BBC News, which I’m assuming are an accurate summary of the court hearings, Russell Brand won’t be convicted. I say this as somebody who has been drugged & raped. “Evidence” “witness (not victim) statements” never apply to this crime.

Young girls and boys who are in care or who have left care homes and think nobody actually CARES for them. Middle aged women who go on dates after getting divorced and don’t realise charming men drug your drink; young people who don’t realise that they’ll be stabbed in the thigh at a pub/night club

And yet rape is epidemic. Always has been. Not just in war; migration camps; religious circles. But it’s an everyday pervading life destroyer. Behind doors in seemingly perfect marriages; on dates that people hopefully look for love; as sex workers who are exempt from laws it would appear

The man with artificial hair, teeth, doctor’s reports, lifts in his shoes, scalp reduction surgery, a girdle, and a painted orange face claims we’re his enemy if we use the word “artificial.”

Returning an online order that’s not Amazon: so I went out on a limb and ordered 2 tops (that’s ’shirts/blouses for the American viewers) from Dorothy Perkins online (that’s a very old clothes store), well Long Tall Sally (that’s a…jeez, this post needs a glossary..I’m giving up..) The end

Nobody needs to attend college for a year to achieve L1 Health and Safety. Make them attend for 2 weeks and they’ve got a green card CSCS and ready to start digging bloody ditches and learning from others how to be a construction specialist.

Throw in group driving lesson sessions and you’ve got a whole generation of wonderfully capable people who can be carers and or cleaners at peoples homes, labourers who can drive to a site; and voila! They’re earning - and paying tax. This is not rocket science

HE colleges should be delivering fast track GCSE Maths and English or functional skills maths and English; digital skills for the local community to manage parking apps; emails; energy tariffs (esp in mine where 50% are over the age of 50) and ESOL (get people into work quicker).

And stop delivering Level 2 Health and social care; get them working and learning on the job. Level 2 vehicle maintenance (plug in the car to the system) useless; Level 2 animal care (no jobs. All voluntary with charities - train to be a vet assistant). These courses are pointless.

Level 2 beauty therapy/hairdressing - no jobs - set yourself up as self employed and promote yourself on social media. Level 2 teaching assistant - good luck finding a placement to progress. It’s all bullshit

And recognise that English & maths GCSE curriculum is not fit for purpose and certainly not for dyslexic or dyscalculic students. It’s antiquated. And sending kids on to study non A levels is a waste of time. Give them apprenticeships from 16 years old instead. Stop wasting their time and talents
