🎉 UPDATE! GOOD NEWS! 🎉 I posted about the issue on RPGMaker's new official forum, and a lovely moderator named Baz helped me with the issue. With a new plugin, I saw a video freeze, and UNFREEZE ITSELF! There's no longer a chance for the game to softlock (I hope)!!! POKÉNRONPA IS SAVED!! TY BAZ!!!

Sometimes I think about whether should genuinely try to make online friends or not Like my IRL friends are great but I can’t talk to any of them about webcomics or cartoons or even my own project Online’s just hard because there’s no interpersonal relationships. Just avatars and social media likes

I’m also, like, HYPER aware of trying to distance myself personally from anyone I met because of Pokénronpa. There’s a big difference between being a fan of my work vs. being my friend. I’m trying to avoid parasocial relationships as best I can So like, there’s that barrier too 😕

Update: Tried the MAC_High_Hz_Fixes plugin from Mac15001900 and still hit a crash. Was really hoping this was gonna be a solution. Still seeking potential solutions...

Could really use some reposts on this. The freezes being in the game, even if they rarely happen, could still RUIN the experience for potential players. I REALLY want to mitigate that as much as possible. I also made a forum post on the new RPGMaker forum: guild.rpgmakerofficial.com/t/topic/3426
