#StardewValley at Red Rocks Amphitheater for their final show was an amazing treat. Getting to see Eric and everyone enjoy our coolest venue. Hope you loved it here, and be safe back to Seattle! And the best love to the couple who got married!

600+ prints, 2k downloads, 1.5k saves, 600 likes and 50 Boosts. I couldn't be more happy people have gotten to make use of Avery digitally, and physically, for their designs. Wanted to make sure I shared some awesome pictures from others! #fursuit #fursuitmaker #cosplay #3D #3Dprinting

I have been so busy with other things, but I am thrilled Avery has made it to 500 downloads and 150 prints! He has gotten more love than I expected. Thank you all so much. makerworld.com/models/1242387 #3d #3dprinting #furry #fursuitmaker #cosplay

I've made some cool tails in 20 years, but think @orientalspade.bsky.social now has one of my favorites. Multi-material mix of PETG-CF/TPU on the base like used for the head. Riveted clips. Strung with EVA dowel. 8 links. #furry #fursuit #fursuitmaker

But damn am I happy to show off @orientalspade.bsky.social multi-material print success. PETG-CF/TPU, PLA supported on the Snapmaker U1. #furry #fursuit #fursuitmaker

My #SecretFatty2025 gift to @redpolk.bsky.social ! It's been a very long time since I've tried lining or coloring anything (usually stick to sketches). But I had a ton of fun on Hiroshi and he really grew on my heart working on him. Would love to draw him again sometime. I hope you love him! ❄️🎄

Haven't drawn any of these little freaks in a LONG time, but fuck it. Been sick as a dog for the past three weekends so now that I'm actually better I wanna get myself a treat lmao #furry #furryart #fursona #anthro #adopt #furryadopt #gobblyn #originalspecies

I just recently received my 8" statue from Shrunk 3D, and it is so fantastic. I've never had the privilege of getting full body Photogrammetry-d, and I'm just as shocked it got my tattoos and black clothes' wrinkles. Really fun. Printed using MJF in Nylon 12 #3d #3dscanning #3dprinting

I have been asked recently, and in my past jobs, how I get such smooth sculpts and editable pieces - Retopology. A skill most seen in gamedev, less in CADD, becomes very valuable for head bases. This extends the life of my models, and modularity cleanliness. #3d #furry #fursuitmaker (1/3)

You'll now be confined with that mesh just to your sculpting software. Besides Maya, Blender for example, is not keen to high poly count outside of its modifiers. You'll waste more time than you think editing, than having had a cleaner slate. Bigger file sizes also contribute to sluggishness (2/3)

Your printer will LOVE you for good geometry. Your prints will be more consistent, less manifolding, and process faster. That clean mesh is now also easier to sculpt edits in Blender, with modifiers. Make the sculpting process only 20% of your pipeline. (3/3)

A beginner can sculpt their entire head base in Nomad, if they so wish. This is good for personal projects. But, you're doing yourself a disservice once you provide that product for sale. You'll realize any edits, high poly count, and slicer time, will slow you down over and over. (1/3)

This helps remove any artifacting, a high poly count, and not ideal geometry for post-editing. Ensuring consistent thickness for a base, clean booleans and quads for further dialing the mesh details in Blender. And yes, I retopologize by hand. No auto function. (2/3)

But why should it matter? Professionalism, Repeatability, and Product Development. Keeping an easily editable library of your bases for the longevity of its life, is good practice. And that requires good, clean, topology. #Nomad > #CozyBlanket > #Blender (3/3)
