this is a cool and practical intro to Jev and how you can use it to make those agents faster and cheaper

Sanity@sanity.io

Watching agents think feels like waiting for images to load pixel by pixel on a 56k modem. John on our team got a docs agent to a 0.5s median answer with prefetching, speculation, and fewer round trips to the LLM. Web perf tricks, applied to agents. www.sanity.io/engineering/...

another instant classic on the sanity engineering blog!

Cody@codey.bsky.social

I stopped using Safari @sanity.io because of wobbly spinners. Now I can use it again thanks to zoom banter & humans working together, & writing a @github.com PR _by hand_ (NO AI)! It didn't require convincing @jensimmons.bsky.social to add no-wobbles to Baseline 2027! www.sanity.io/engineering/...

Get through security reviews faster. The new Security tab in Manage gives you a centralized view of security configurations across every Sanity project. Find project members, long-lived API tokens, risky CORS configs, and which datasets are public. Free for all users.

I mean, I was doing long-winded aloof prose before it was cool and not cool again.

This year Everything NYC is about Powering Intelligence, so we're giving you an afternoon to build it. We're running a workshop the day before. Ask the Sanity team questions as they come up, see how they actually approach things, and get an early look at what's coming next. 🎫 luma.com/sanity-pwc9

really looking forward to this!

Everything *[NYC] closes with light this year. Shohei Fujimoto, the Tokyo artist behind laser installations like Intangible Forms at ARTECHOUSE, closes the night on September 9. Free to attend, spots are limited: everything.sanity.io

@sanity.io studio finally has out-of-the-box table support. that's huge. (and the underlying Container API support for PTE is an even huger unlock for inline editing of nested data structures)

Christian Grøngaard@hamburger.cloud

Today, I helped ship native Portable Text tables in @sanity.io Studio: www.sanity.io/docs/changel... Portable Text always supported nested structures, but making them inline editable was a whole new beast, one we've been chipping at since vendoring Slate in Feb. Gonna talk more about this soon!

"The bot actually knows who you are, and that has a huge impact on the answers." That's the whole idea behind the support bot we rebuilt with Sanity Context. The goal: more than half of you get unstuck without waiting on us, and a Support person stays one message away whenever you need them.

see you in nyc?

Everything *[NYC] is back. Sept 9. Agents, content ops, and what it takes to build and run both. On stage: Vercel, Braze, Semafor, exe.dev, plus our co-founders. Closes with a live laser installation by Shohei Fujimoto. Free to attend, spots are limited: go.sanity.io/xoo4AtO

found an old @sanity.io demo from 2018 i did with custom validation and... tensorflow.js(?) where publishing is blocked unless there is a human face present. hits different now.

Of course, we use Sanity at Sanity, curious how? See how our Intranet was built: scheduled + doc-triggered functions, shared layers across apps, and a chatbot added in ~15 min thanks to Sanity Context. Join us for live Q&A and get recipes & starters to make it your own.

Describe your content to an agent, get a real hosted Studio back. The Sanity MCP server can now: 1. create a project 2. deploy a schema 3. deploy a Studio 4. ??? 5. profit!¹ mcp.sanity.io ——— ¹ no dedicated profit tool yet; that one's on you.

If you're looking for a grounded perspective on how coding has changed and how you should think about managing folks who are managing agents who code... then this essay from Vincent is what you should sit down and read over the weekend.

One of our senior engineers writes about 1% of his code by hand. Nine months after going AI-first, Vincent Quigley's team shares a field report: less coding, more orchestration. www.sanity.io/blog/we-dont...

If you know someone who are building great stuff with Sanity, then you should definitively nominate them (and if you are that person, nominate yourself!)

Every team building with Sanity knows someone doing wild work nobody outside the team has heard of. Sanity Pioneers is open for nominations. Know someone who should be a Pioneer? Repost so the right people see it. Or nominate yourself: sanity.io/pioneers

"just execute this bundle of code from npm, trust us" vs "just pipe this curl output from this URL into bash and execute it, trust us" which one do you prefer?

"So this is actually the first project where I extensively use AI in real time." Introducing Bjørn Staal, an artist working in code as his native material. At our annual Everything *[NYC] conference, Bjørn built mem_brane, an AI-driven installation that sensed and responded in real time.

Built a Telegram agent that runs a conference. Organizers message it from their phones, agent reads + writes the updates directly into @sanity.io. ~100 lines of code. Swap Telegram for Slack or iMessage, same pattern. Content ops in the tools your team already uses. www.sanity.io/blog/build-a...

1M people building on Sanity. Content ops has shifted from editing pieces one at a time to operating on a whole system with agents. A price change propagates across country sites in one pass. A decade of archives gets audited in an afternoon. Thanks for building with us!

Conferences are filled to the brim with content ops. Talks, CFPs, schedules, FAQs, announcements. Usually spread across systems that don't work on your phone. So I built a conference OS on Sanity with agents in Telegram. Text it to move a panel or accept a CFP. Writeup next week.

Ken built a dog adoption app where you skip the filters & toggles and just type "fluffy, will love the stray kittens, won't destroy my small apartment." Sanity Agent Context does the rest. www.sanity.io/blog/better-...

Wrote down the 10 things I look for when evaluating a CMS, after watching the @emdashcms.com / @wordpress.org conversation focus on hosting and Gutenberg. What we're not talking about is what a CMS is for, and it's not serving HTML from your preferred cloud/Raspberryπ. www.knut.fyi/blog/2026-04...

knut.fyiThe 10 laws of developer experience for content management systemsThese ten laws are a checklist for CMS developer experience in a world where humans and agents both need to build on top of your content system.

I'm having so much fun with the @sanity.io Content Agent API. Building a "conference management system" - imagine being able to just update your conference rig via chat?

A month ago I was bemoaning the state of @sanity.io - I was wrong. I’ve just spent the past couple of days setting up a new site & getting to grips with all the new features. Sanity haven’t spread themselves thin. They’ve made an epic platform to build… ANYTHING! 🥰 🤓 🧑‍💻

Skills files and llms.txt are signage. Your API design is the hallway. With well-designed hallways, you don't have to think about where to go. I wrote up a framework for developer tools teams who wants to improve agentic developer experience. www.knut.fyi/blog/2026-03...

knut.fyiAgentic developer experience starts with your system, not your promptsThe new 'time to hello world' isn't determined by a developer reading your getting started guide. It's someone typing a naive prompt into an agent. How should we think about that?
