Also what I am trying to figure out is why the time-management stuff worked so well for me in Persona 3 Reload and Metaphor Refantazio and not so much in 3H/FW

To be clear I am still enjoying the game a lot. It’s just like. 70% of the time is more of a pleasant low-level neuron stimulation than actual gameplay One thing I think would help a lot is if they could make the grinding/“random encounter” battles on the world map more interesting

The out of battle stuff isn’t BAD- it’s definitely better than Engage and wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than 3 Houses. But there’s sooooo much of it between battles Engage I think handled it better than FW or 3H in that there was a lot less and it felt more optional

Planning on doing Leda’s next. Probably gonna take a few days off to check out some other games and generally not think about Fire Emblem for a bit lol. Wanna see it all but don’t wanna burn myself out

The paralogues in this game are some of the very few maps in the series that actually feel meaningful different than the standard “Rout” and “Defeat the boss” objectives

Jodie Whittaker was v good in her role this season, Kerri Russel and Rufus Sewell continue to kill it. Ato Essandoh was as great as always but felt like he got a lot less screentime this season rip

Getting mad about scenarios I made up

I’ll keep gaming till 1 am on a work night cause I couldn’t fall asleep till after 2 the last few nights. Then I’d immediately fall asleep when I got in bed and feel like I missed out on additional sleep by staying up so late 😭😭
