FF Resonance probably has my favorite version of Job System stuff since X-2. Real satisfying, and its fun to figure out builds. Also isn't too broken overall since you only get some of their tools when not equipped.

Naturally I got Shantotto to be my first fully awakened vision and now I can do dumbass stuff alongside Y'shtola passives like letting Fina Quadcast Flare halfway into the game.

getting into an argument about jontron's bird in call and if it was racist and they keep telling me that a bird can't be racist but a bird can learn to attack minorities because racism is a learned trait and not a natural state of being

FF Resonance having full reserve EXP and MRP makes a lot of sense because given every new party member in this starts with no Vision stuff it would make this intolerable.

FF Resonance is only getting better the more I chew through it. I also found Sephiroth by accident and that went bad basically immediately.

Right as the final episode ended I started getting chills. They really nailed it on all four cours of this arc. Some animation weirdness and hyper quick pacing here and there but overall its quite strong. I wasn't even that hard on the original manga's ending, but this was stupendous.

Bleach TYBW -The Calamity- (2026) 10 years on from the end of the manga its surreal to both see it animated and for the climax to finally truly feel like an uncompromising finale. Fixed most of my issues with the end of the manga with some extra surprises. TYBW is everything I could have wanted.

Eric Bauza wasn't just an incredible actor. He fought for all of us, for the preservation of art, to see that real art got to shine, even in the face of corporate greed. The importance of him using his platform and his voice for the betterment of art cannot be understated. Goodnight, sir.

Just like Season 1 its fantastic at making you go "oh god oh no" after the first couple episodes.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 (2026) Fantastic just like last season. A little less grand than Season 1 but with a much stronger main cast of characters so I like both about the same. Insanely cool looking and violent like its the modern day 80s anime OVA.

FF Resonance has the juice. I cleared a boss fight by just abusing a spell that gets 10% stronger if you cast it over and over in battle. At the start the multi-target spell did 1600. Ended with it doing 5200 a shot. So many random strats work in this game.
