It's even more angering to me when other trans people will see "cringe" trans art and say that it's "setting the community back" or "making us look bad". Actually transphobes are going to hate us no matter what, you're just miserable and want everyone else to hate themselves like you do

When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as “headcanon.” When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it “obnoxious” and “cringe.” They just don’t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they don’t want us to exist at all.

nothing makes it feel more like someone genuinely cares about people with disabilities than starting off with "clearly you're challenged" regardless, it's the classic case of lumping into completely different kinds of "AI" with the stuff people actually don't like (gen AI)

people always use vague phrasing like "can be an assistive technology" because there's no actual argument for what the kinds of AI people don't like does for a disabled person that's essential or valuable

I saw a theoretical "use" for gen AI art where an artist who lost the ability to use their hands or other physical means of drawing could use AI to continue to make art and that's just such an attitude only someone who doesn't make art could come up with

and in one of the revelation interviews they offhandedly mentioned how the midgar raid sequence was just like in the original and had to be rewritten because now he party have used parachutes before
