Finished setting up the LoRa rack for the @c-base.org roof, running Meshastic rooter, Meshcore repeater, and and Reticulum access point. The Raspberry Pi comes with UPS pants and a LoRa hat. Two Heltec v4 are attached through USB serial.

Bye GrapheneOS, hello SailfishOS. The 2026 Jolla has shipped and I already migrated. This is the year for Linux everywhere.

World of Warcraft: Forever introduced controller support! Here running on Linux with GE Proton 11.7 on my Steam Machine.

Looking for #Ethereum consensus-layer blocks 11,184,384-15,192,614. If anyone has a copy, would be much appreciated!

I managed my first #reticulum LXMF conversation over 3 LoRa hops today with an absolute random person in the next state. It's all coming together nicely. Reticulum may be the most interesting technology of the decade.

Assembled the modded #Thinkpad X210Ai: custom motherboard (tpart), Intel Core Ultra 9 185H (12+8+2 cores) @5.10 GHz, 13 inch 1600p matte display @165Hz, 64GB DDR5 RAM 5600MHz, 4TB NVMe SSD, USB-C, HDMI, Archlinx (btw).

First time in my professional career I struggle finding a job. Never thought economy could change so drastically.

We (@dod.ngo) are in the early stages of planning a meetup around code hosting after github on board of @c-base.org So far we have talks around @radicle.dev and rngit Would also love to have somebody speaking about @tangled.org - anyone knows somebody in Berlin that could speak on it? Or ..

#Reticulum Berlin meetup yesterday at XHain: Reticulous app and firmware is taking shape, we gave out the remaining Heltec v4 cases from camp and someone implemented RRC - Reticulum Relay Chat. 🤓 /join #reticulumberlin on the community hub.

I had a spectacular solar eclipse /after/ sunset today. Hard to photograph, so let me explain. My holiday plans put me coincidentally in the path of the total eclipse today but slightly off too far to the east Mediterranean. Before sunset, we would see a >90% eclipse which was impressive by itself.

But what happened next was deeply humbling. Sunset was 20:25 and totality 7 minutes later 20:32. So it was getting dark and I realized I was in the /exact/ spot where the moon shadow left Earth. You could see a massive dark stretch of atmosphere which was the totality shadow.

In just two/three minutes you could see the shadow of the moon flying above our heads in the sky and then it started to get brighter again even though sun was already set behind the horizon.

Added mesh activity to potatomesh.net Interesting metric: #Meshtastic 0.97 packets per node and hour; #Meshcore 0.29 packets per node and hour. So, on average, Meshtastic nodes in Berlin send one packet each hour where as Meshcore nodes only send one in 3 hours (this includes messages though).

My #meshcore rooftop repeater got a little sister, a #meshtastic router (late). Happy meshing everyone ☀

Codeberg just banned all crypto-currency projects. Quote: "Content that harms the reputation of Codeberg, such as - but not limited to - cryptocurrency related projects." I would argue, no matter where you stand on blockchain, such a policy harms Codeberg more than any single project.

Received two #meshcore messages from Berlin in Helsinki, 11 and 19 hops. This is getting out of hand.

Adam and Eve ignoring God and trying the fruit of knowledge was an act of emancipation and liberation. Yet, thousands of years later, religion still tries to keep us down with stories of lies about the evil nature of Satan.

Thanks all for coming. We got ~20 nodes up serving content on #Reticulum in just 90 minutes!!

Reticulum workshop at 16:30 today in tent 7 (hacker's hall). #reticulum @getdweb.net #dwebcamp mesh.dod.ngo/workshop

My favorite response from the local AI bot we hosted on #meshcore at @getdweb.net DWeb Camp was this. "The bot rescues robots using techniques like jumping, punching, and spin-attacking."

We sold 170 devices and had around 200 nodes online, sending 100+ messages a day. Most active channel was #schedule on meshcore.

Thanks for following. I'm currently looking for a job. #eierlegendewollmilchsau
