I bought a NAS home server and set up Jellyfin on it. I realized this is gonna be the Millennial tech version of our parents getting really into model trains.

I got a ton of family activities this week so gonna be a couple days before I can stream again. In the meantime check out the Games That Ace It event on Steam! Me and my wife will be playing games from the event when we stream again so get a sneak peek! store.steampowered.com/curator/4614...

Tune into the channel this week as me and my beloved ace wife play some games with ace representation. Asexuals continue winning.

The Trans Heart October Raid Train is live now through the 31st!! An incredible collaboration of over 80 creators in relay for 157 straight hours of content in support of our life saving work! Every view helps build momentum-- tune in literally anytime (including right now!) at peer2peer.live!

When you get groceries but forget your wife really loves Halloween.

@murray.senate.gov @cantwell.senate.gov Are y'all really gonna let the best apple debate go on without word from the senators of the great state of Washington? As your constituent I need to know your apple picks.

It's also counterproductive to your point usually because it's easy to not engage with stuff you never liked. The hard part is no longer engaging with art that means something to you. That one hurts.

If you're big into game preservation (and who on Bluesky isn't), you need to be following Chorby here. These projects are gonna be so cool.

Ladies, gentlemen, and gender ascenders, I'm happy to announce that Penguin Colony has "the sauce" and the fact I can fling my penguin halfway across the level in certain places (an act I have dubbed "Penguin Time") is absolutely a joy to behold. Also the penguin that explodes Nazis was nice too.

Who wants to be a cute little penguin watching incredibly bad things happen to Nazis? It's me the answer is me. Grab some popcorn and watch the Eldritch show in Penguin Colony! (Thanks @origamedigital.bsky.social for the stream key) www.twitch.tv/lanceandgin

I welcome my Uma brethren to the resistance. Here's your ICE whistle, feel free to blow it to the tune of the starting gate music. Also if you call your representatives about clearing visas for the horse girls please for the love of God record it. We need the morale boosts.

youtu.be/iWBf9h095ew?... Shouts to my guy @chorby.org and his excellent video about his quest to find the worst Wii game at Portland Retro (plus some discussion of how to responsibly curate bad games)

This is how your Next Fest email finds me.

I can't believe how fast I was able to get a full Ubuntu server up and running with Jellyfin. Laying in bed watching Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex streaming at full quality from my own server feels SO MUCH COOLER than I thought it would!

Penguin Colony and Tenebris Somnia are games that show what you can really bring to the table when you have financial backing that doesn't demand an immediate 2000% return on investment.

I just saw the Street Fighter movie and I love it so much. All the ham and cheese you could ask for. Gonna be my top "movie I put on while doing other things" movies of 2027. They better make a sequel.

Thank you everyone who tuned in to such a wonderfully spooky time! Lance S. Pumpkins may be done for now, but the frights continue on Monday with @veselekov.bsky.social and crew's Penguin Colony! For now though, Lance S. Pumpkins wishes you the SPOOKIEST HALLOWEEN!

Ya'll made it happen by hitting our @fredhutch.org Raids for Research goal, now it's time for the debut of LANCE S. PUMPKINS! He's here to play @newblood.games 's Tenebris Somnia and he totally loves Halloween, unlike Lance. ANY QUESTIONS?! www.twitch.tv/lanceandgin

We are now LIVE with @sunnylabgames.bsky.social Witch's Bakery! Join us for fluffy croissants and confronting the deepest parts of our psyche to become better people (which also somehow involves croissants). www.twitch.tv/lanceandgin

This Friday. 7 PM PST. Tenebris Somnia meets Lance S. Pumpkins. www.twitch.tv/lanceandgin

I'm so proud to have backed this project! Congrats to the Witch's Bakery team for finally launching! Join me and Gin tonight at 7 PM PST for our long awaited Witch's Bakery launch day stream! Let's heal some hearts with tasty bread and actual witchcraft!

Alchemist absolutely deserves a podcast because it would be as entertaining as it is chaotic. I also like seeing homies getting paid.

Okay, lets try this again. @fellowtraveller.games 's LudoNarraCon is here and full of indie goodness, so we're looking at demos for murder grannies, eldritch fishing, and women with glowing swords. You love to see it. www.twitch.tv/lanceandgin

You know who IS writing code? You know who IS committed to human-created art? If you care about human creativity, human stories, human-made music, and handcrafted art, indie studios are standing by for your wishlist! store.steampowered.com/app/4094890/...

I don't like talking about my ADHD much because I don't want it to become a "shield" for behavior, but I really hit a massive spiral today. It's so easy to stretch yourself thin thinking you need to be "doing more" and then blame yourself for hitting the breaking point. Give yourself grace folks.

LudoNarraCon is on now and I'll be playing a selection of demos from the event tomorrow, 10/11, at 7 PM PST! We're starting with: 1. Apple Crumble (@happybroccoligames.bsky.social) 2. At Fate's End (@thunderlotusgames.com) 3. Just Fishing (@playstack.com) Buy indie games! www.twitch.tv/lanceandgin

reported on something that was really difficult for a lot of people for a lot of different reasons in a lot of different ways.

THE BOWL IS PERFECTLY SOUP.

The mountain looks pretty today.

My community raised $500 dollars for @fredhutch.org and they unlocked a very special "Lance S. Pumpkins" stream. I've been wondering what game should be the spotlight of that stream. I think I may have found it. God help me.

I'm so proud seeing what the Stream for Fred Hutch program is capable of! $51k+ is such an incredible number! Everyone put their all into Raids and the results speak for themselves!

YESSSS I am STOKED for MMC to come out! The demo was amazing and started a pretty heated discussion with chat about Furbies. My wife also now wants to turn a Furby into a Spirit Box because of this demo so I guess put that on the box. youtube.com/shorts/-potB...

The fun part about being older is telling your physical therapist that you helped your friends move for ten hours two days ago and he goes "No, I can tell." Take care of your back kids.

I used to hate my poor photoshop skills. But now that my posts are accused of AI constantly I'm glad for the imperfections in these. Its how you know I traced around the outlines of objects with an eraser tool before layering things. Anyways! Enjoy a fun meme/template to use! #StarTrek #Memes

Damn, hit ‘em with the lookback

What movie made you ugly cry? Homeward Bound. The scene where the family is waiting for Shadow to come over the hill makes me cry to this very day.
