Was going to vote two ticks Green anyway, but the fact that the local Green candidate is @lanpham.greens.org.nz makes that an even simpler decision given all the very visible mahi she's been doing.

Absolute honour to recieve "Rethinking Health" by Doctors and Poets Art Nahill and Glen Colquhoun. It shouldn't be too much to place care for our people and care for te taiao at the heart of decision making. In the bleakness of Government's final week of parliament, where polluters and profiteers who benefit from destroying or exploiting te taiao write the rules - there was a shining light in the form of the Takaka community petition to expand Kahurangi national park to protect Te Waikoropupu Springs 🌏✊️

In this Coal-alition Government's last gasp at power they are embedding climate denialism and environmental destruction into our core laws that are meant to protect the health of our people and te taiao environment ☠️☠️

Ngā mihi nui to Forest&Bird welly branch for organising a picnic at parliament to tautoko the epic 35,000 strong march in Tāmaki Makaurau ✊️ The Green Party will ensure that conservation land is managed for nature, not for profit, and that there are strong limits on pollution or environmental harm.
