RNZ asking the Sensible Sentencing Trust and TPU for comment on the new attack billboards is yet more evidence they learned nothing from Dirty Work. These are bad-faith PR orgs and RNZ is willfully running cover for them.

It was Ani o’brien who first posted the video of Orini et al with the gangs. Why did no news media mention this? Did anyone read Nicky Hager’s book? #nzpol

This is a brilliant article. “How to vote? In my view, if your electorate has a progressive candidate who could win, vote for them. But whatever else you do, party vote Green. It’s not just that there’s so much at stake, although there is. It’s that this is a moment of so much opportunity.” #nzpol

The right's line this election is "why should you get to vote if you aren't organised enough to enrol". Next term, if Paul Goldsmith has any say, it'll be, why should you get to vote if you have a conviction. Or aren't a citizen. Or receive a benefit. Or don't own property. Or don't have a job.

hoooooooooly shit lol

The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead: www.ispot.tv/ad/SoDi/micr...

#BHN if we are to believe Christopher Luxon and his ‘not working with Opportunity’ tactic, then I assume we can expect a concession speech on election night should National, ACT and NZ First not have the numbers to form a government. Chances of that happening? #nzpol

I don't like Gowers style, but will admit that the format of last night debate was (for the most part) pretty good.

Paddy Gower’s restrained moderation made Ryan Bridge’s debate look even worse in hindsight. Luxon, meanwhile, floundered under the relentless no-ads format. thespinoff.co.nz/politics/21-...
