If your feed is full of posts about bike lanes, privatizing water, data centers, etc - you are in an echo chamber. Talk to people you know who aren't talking about those things or seeing that information. You don't need to convince the people in your echo chamber who to vote for, or why. #TOPoli

During today’s election, are you voting for a transformational leader for the next four years? What is your hope for your next elected municipal representative? What are they planning for the next 48 months, 208 weeks, 1460 days? h/t @london.gov.uk #TorontoDanforth Make sure to Vote #TOpoli

Don’t cry for BC voters. They’ve already made their answer fairly clear. “Conservative Party of BC interim leader Lorne Doerkson confirmed that if his party forms government, he would repeal the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act as his top priority.”

I'm biking down this hill with my kid in the back and a truck slows down beside me. Driver leans over and says, "Are you insane? You should be riding on the sidewalk!" I say, "That's illegal. Did you know that?" Wild idea, should drivers have to know the rules in order to drive?

Since 2016, London’s cycling network has grown fivefold, from 90 to 450 kilometres. The results? 1.5 million daily cycle journeys—a 43% increase since 2019—twice as many bikes as cars on City of London streets during the day, and motor traffic in steady decline—having fallen 25% in the same period.
