The LMU Le Mans 24hr was wonderful. I brilliant experience racing with teammates and friends. We were in split 12 of 34 and finished P5 after an incredible comeback by the team in the night from P28 early on.

Incredible stuff. The best 24hr race I've been involved in over the years on any platform. Well done to Studio 397 for all the hard work to get to this point and not only show what LMU is capable of, but the record concurrent player numbers smashing the previous record.

The smile on my face seeing LMU successfully host two 24-hour events over this weekend, and both go really bloody well. Absolutely love it!

In other news, I've now put my house on the market, two years earlier than planned, because f**k you neighbours and your noise levels. But also, I always think that making decisions is better than not making decisions, and I was putting this one off and getting frustrated with the situation.

So, I'm very much hoping mine goes for a good price and I can find somewhere that suits me a bit better and I can be more comfortable just 'being', which is more and more important to me these days.

I've really liked and enjoyed this house, and would have stayed longer, but I was putting off making long-term investments into improving it further and that suggests it's not the one for me. So yep, hopefully the right decision. We'll see!

Swedish (not Ikea) meatballs and mash for dinner this evening, with some really nice gravy that comes with it. Surprisingly good work from Tesco.

Good lord. I do not remember going out to be that much of a faff. I went to Ikea and B&Q (separate locations). It was nearly impossible to park and the parking lanes are so narrow your rear wheel ends up over the curb.

You should defeinitely only ever attempt any of this in the immediate 5 minutes after opening time. People were surprisingly less horrendous than I remember, but I still would not recommend the experience.

So far we've had drivers lifting halfway down the straights, being told by the software when they should be accelerating, cars drving into a wall because 'they got confused' and now cars failing at going slowly because it's wet. And a huge delay to what could have been a banger. It's disgraceful.

The IMSA yellow flag / full course yellow / safety car situation is such a fucking mess. I dont understand it and I've followed motorsport all my life. How the fuck is a normal supposed to understand it. Also it takes 90 minutes each time. What's that about?

Latest LMU livery playground project. Based on the Davidoff/Gulf McLaren F1 GTR Longtail from 1997. New/updated sponsors where appropriate.

I know it's a Sunday because next door's grand-thing is screaming its massive little head off and doing the stampy thing. So, 4 adults, 4 dogs, and a young child in a 3-bedroom semi, with no sign of them ever walking 2 minutes up the road to the park. Splendid. Still love that for them.

Currently have (most) Wednesdays off, which is nice. I spent this morning going to look at a house (technically more of a cottage) which of course now I want to buy (and it would be very unwise to do so right now). Dangit. I just get caught up in the dreams I think.
