My goldfish says it's working on Theodore the Tugboat Teaches Quantum Mechanics. It thinks this'll be the hit new video game of 2026, complete with a star-studded cast, next-gen graphics, and concepts and models that won't be postulated for at least another decade.

So reinstalling Windows recently on two systems made me have a thought: Why is AMD's chipset driver package so much easier? One installer and it includes everything versus Intel where it's the Chipset Driver, Management Engine, and Serial IO, and I might still be missing something.

If you're concerned about the current food safety issues with leafy greens, I recommend learning to cook Indian food! Any "saag" dish will use a ton of spinach, mustard greens and collard greens. It looks rough but it's delicious. Tons of garlic, ginger, butter, and spices. Add paneer (cheese)!

Help. My team at Furality is 70 people now. I'd use an entire max-length thread here on BlueSky to just mention them all to thank them (I tried this earlier). They're all amazing and you should seek them out to let them know this!

Just under 24 hours until Club F.Y.N.N. rumbles back to life. I’m super excited and can’t wait to see you all there!

Dear Apple, Can you please reintroduce the feature that let you immediately dismiss a notification on the first try from iOS 16 and watchOS 8? It was lovely. I’d take swipes and gestures registering on the first or second try again too.

"Mierda Revival" is my new favorite description of an architectural style. It perfectly describes a lot of overpriced upper middle class homes in the US. Thanks Arvin!

I haven't kept up with the smartphone market and was wondering if there were any good devices that are about the size of the iPhone 12 Mini, maybe slightly larger? Also not interested in any folding screen or flip phone devices.

Despite this week being an emotional roller coaster, we did manage to get out of the house at least once.

A little around five hours ago, one of the most influential people in my life passed away. I can honestly say that I would not be the person I am today without him. I've had two fathers leave this world unto the next in these past six years. They were both fantastic and will live on through memory.

I wish the reasons for going were fun or good, but this 10-month-old 787 should at least get me there.

My goldfish says I should take advantage of the delivery services out there these days. I remember when they were just for food...

My goldfish says it's accidentally eaten something in the 6th Arrondissement and it thinks that it might have either been a car or a building - it forgets which. Any case, it'll put it back when it's done with it.

My goldfish misread a corned beef hash recipe and ended up accidentally producing silicon wafers. Should sell those to a chip fab?

My goldfish is annoyed that scientists observing it are nosy because one of them was making comments on the mass of its accretion disc.

It's satisfying when Imperial units line up with Metric ones! Take this oatmilk for example. 86, being divisible by 8, is perfect for halving, quartering, or eighthing recipes and 2.54, being perfectly divisible by 10, fits metric recipes really well.

I'm...almost annoyed at how good automotive cleaning products are for my furry and VR gear. Interior cleaners are designed to take biological residue off of hard surfaces designed to be touched for hours at a time, and they're also good at protecting fabrics.

For my scale maille tail, car shampoo is great at taking off the aluminum oxide powder while a ceramic-infused spray wax makes protecting it and making the colors pop stupid easy.

Leather gear just gets the standard Blackrock conditioner but for stuff that's going to be outside, I'll hit it with some ceramic leather protectant to make it hydrophobic (which is also great on shoes here in the PNW)
