RAM OK ROM OK Happy 25th anniversary, Grand Theft Auto III! Released in North America on 22/10/01 and then a few days later in Europe when I picked it with a 'Huh, I remember GTA on PS1; wonder if this is any good?'. This is a pretty special game to me for being absolutely floored within minutes.

More of a dread mood piece than a proper narrative. Sort of treating it as a proof of concept for a short story I’m tinkering with that fleshes out some world building seeds I’m planting and hoping to nurture in the years to come ⚔️

It’s finally working ⚔️ (I actually set aside time to grind through the absolute rot and finally struck some golden verses) Hoping to have the writing done in the coming days.

New poem in the works and it’s a sequel to this one. Tried squeezing in a type of origin originally but it was just a square hole in a round peg. We’ll see how this evolves but I have some fun out there ideas!

Always loved this unmarked hidden panic room in the Warden's office. Basically a big easter egg hinting at Arkham City! I think it was only discovered a good while after launch too. Makes you think what else is lurking unfound in this series 👀

Not sure if its entirely unique 'junk' asset but pretty funny find in the air vent leading into Dr Young's office in Arkham Asylum. Guess those experiments funded by 'Jack White' got to her after awhile 🍸

Fresh install fixed it, I'm a computer wiz kid

I really do love PC gaming, my favourite thing to do after a long day of troubleshooting at work is troubleshooting at home 🤤🤤 if anyone has any insight let me know. I've tried everything under the sun and it still crashes in the same spot. Gonna try a fresh install after work but fuck what a saga.

Had the wretched work related dream before waking up to have to go into the office. It’s like working an extra day of the week with a dash of surreal horror and incompetence you can’t control 🫩

Do yourself a favour and pick up the first issue of Jonah Hex and the Shadow of Death. Came out earlier this month and it's fucking phenomenal stuff. Already preordering the trade!

Kinda bummed that there's a new ongoing for my boy but the nearest comic shop is like an hour away and if I order online it's like 20$ with shipping. Might as well just wait for the trade but maaan I wish I could support it physically.

Some classic writers I want to dive into next year include Steinbeck, Guy de Maupassant, and Baudelaire. Also want to keep reading more Jack London, Wells, and Doyle. So many books so little time 📚
