Is He Gone Yet

This little Coopers Hawk killed one of my hens today. Not out in the open! It flew by a shed and into a bush where my hen sought shelter from sun and prey!

104 degrees at Avila beach today. Central California where it is typically 70. I hope people raise an eyebrow and question our new, science-less society and where it might be taking us.

Despite its faults, California is still an extraordinary place. Mendocino coast taken last week. 🩷

This lil guy fledged from my front porch eaves right after I took this shot. Cutest darn finch ever!!! Nature is perfect…even when humans are insane. Everything keeps moving forward, one miracle at a time. ♥️♥️

The California conundrum. Preserving CA from MAGAs. m.facebook.com/story.php?st...

Who won the final California Governors debate last night? Commentators say no one, and that they would’ve rather been drinking margaritas at a convo de mayo party than listening to a bunch of grown adults bicker for two hours. It’s bad. All dem candidates porter and below need to drop out. You?

CA governor race shorts: Becerra 👎 (old guard) Porter 👎 (not this year) Steyer 👍🏼 (businessman with a plan, albeit geek) Whiny Sherif Chad 👎👎(Oh God help us. Hell no!)(aka. Hanging Chad) Hilton 👎👎 (is he auditioning for a part or running for Governor?) Mahan 👎( Maybe in a few years) Thurmond 👎 😢

Saw congress with Trump modeled in my garden today. Funny what you see when you just step back and observe.

Happy Easter 🐣

Take a break from the BS. Visit us in California and enjoy some good wine. #tablascreek

Because they know Talarico will smash them. I like Crocket, but Kamala should help Talarico defeat these goons. Why do Dems trip themselves? Where is the strategy? Good lord. 🫣 www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

An absolutely stunning evening along the Cali coast tonight

Yes, it definitely rains in California. Not that sissy drizzle stuff you see in the PNW! WHEN IT COMES, it means business!

Friday pause

Are there any young Jedi’s on BSKY SOCIAL? If you are in high school, did you know you could serve as a poll worker ensuring our upcoming elections are fair and safe? Here is info for California

I and millions of Americans believe exactly the same thing Kasparov does. Too many troops, too many new prisons, too much money not under Congressional supervision. We're not just witnessing a mass deportation scheme anymore. This is something significantly bigger and scarier.

Today the birds are singing. The kitties are snuggling. And the rain is coming. I hear the chimes singing in the breeze. Today I break from the news and take a day for mental health. I’ll be back at it tomorrow. 🧘‍♀️✌️💖

Happy Super Bowl Sunday from the Central Coast of Cali! ✌️

Meanwhile back at the ranch

We cannot trust the reinstating all Dems will be a sure fire strategy with their yesteryear approach. We will never get on the offense and progress this way. In part, they got us here. We need a massive upgrade. How do you feel? substack.com/@ljune/note/...

Keep posting pictures of your favorite places and memories. Flood social media with strong, positive images. Inspire strength, love, and everything beautiful! 🌅

I want it all to be over. Yesterday. I want to move on, positively. I want the whole country to be free, safe and happy. I want other countries to love us again. I guess we are going through this for the group who needed to have this contrast. I hope they’re done.

The Pattison sale to ICE isn't a done deal yet. Keep up the pressure. #bcpoli #cdnpoli #fuckice vancouversun.com/news/jim-pat...

So I’m making this gorgeous quilt to be in a state of creation vs a state of horror. Just thought I’d share…

Beach vibes for a doomscrolling recess

Love is an action, never simply a feeling. During strife it is so hard to surround these world situations with love, seeing their inner love rise to the surface and Forrest course. Buddhism says… insig.ht/4LaLuK4r5Zb

Right now in California. United we stand!

Right now in California. United we stand!

Today in deeply red Atascadero, Ag community of San Luis Obispo!! No Kings!! #nokings #california

LA cops. Today. Bored. Nothing happening. The truth is the truth. Don’t believe the fear mongering media.

Never squander a sunny day in Oregon! #saturdayvibes

Happy Mothers Day to Mother Earth - 🌏 and all the mothers who allow her to flow in harmony by teaching your babies to respect her majesty. ♥️

Conventional, California farmland. Interesting…this is RED territory and they have a fraction of the workers they once had. I wonder if they’ll still love Trump when harvest season comes and no one’s picking.

New life and hope in nature. More nature please. #notphasedbypolitics

New life and hope. Nature keeps on, regardless of these kookoo times. We should be more like them. 🧘‍♀️

As young girls we practice handwriting our married names, using our boy crush name for starters. Starry eyed, we blindly follow this social norm, get married, change name, lose identity, and then…#thesaveact #namechange 👀🙄 #legalizedidentitytheft

While parking for coffee, we commented about a Tesla bumper sticker which said, “make driving Tesla’s great again.” She replied, “I don’t want to cancel Elon Musk. I am just disappointed in him. But I think people have taken it too far.” I said, “I’m sure you’re disappointed in Hitler, too.” Glare.

Paso Robles, CA TODAY 4/19/25… Right now in deeply red territory

A most fascinating analysis. Can the Dems pull it together? I pray. Will they campaign with a solid, conservative financial plan? youtu.be/VwjxVRfUV_4

San Luis Obispo California right now!

And the people say “no thank you” to the foreigner who has overstayed his welcome

Gardening with my family today. I love him so much. These days outdoors are really helping right now.

California has a more delicate ecosystem than people give credit for. After the fires, it always recovers.

She is going to transform the Democratic Party with Bernie’s leadership. It’s time to be who we are and stop cowering to centrist views to scalp a couple votes. Go left. Go all the way progressive. No fear. We are the United People of the United States. All for one, one for all.

Town Hall today. Cambria, California. Jimmy Panetta’s district. 240+ attendees. Purple crowd of concerned citizens. #townhallmarch20 #california #jimmypanetta

Costco, locally, is busier than ever. And it’s usually pretty dang busy. But these crowds are next level. Upholding those DEI policies are really paying off! I’m actually happy to park in the farthest row, wait in line, and play bumper carts - just because it makes me happy to vote with my 💰💵🤑
