I hadn't thought of this.

My rant for today. Why can't Sudbury drivers use the zipper method when entering a lane closure?😡 There's signs all over and on the news and papers showing how to do it. It stops traffic from backing up for a km.🙃

Home from physio. They didn't want to put me in the traction bed before doing a session of manual, but it was still better than doing the traction with a stretch band myself. Will have to wait another week for full traction in the bed.😭

Something BIG is coming to Canuckle! 🏟️🧩🍁 We're getting ready to open the doors to the Canuckle Games Arena, a brand-new home for Canadian-inspired puzzle games! More games. More challenges. More ways to play. And plenty of Canadian fun! 🇨🇦 The Canuckle Games Arena opens next week! 🎉 Stay tuned!

Oh my goodness. Every dog should have a stick library. 🥰

OMG. I spent 4 hours today to fill out forms for physio tomorrow about meds and prior injuries. All I want is some good traction, it better be worth it.

Lula won. Hide the ketchup.

Thinking about putting most of you in Lala land. If you can't reply or like then go f yourself. I have no time to look at your posts either. Have many great friends here but some of you are just posters and not lookers so why should I bother.

Just reading and trying to relax. Suddenly I 'm not sure if I took all my meds today. Had put all the bottles on the table yesterday but didn't fill my pill trays.🤦‍♀️Instead of double dosing a 💡came on. BP monitor says I did.😅Good read in right, but not left. Not enough blood going through.😢

I decided to try the wrist brace without the metal splint. I had trouble to get it out with all Simba's chippies staring me down. Every once in a while he drags them out and piles them up beside me.😂🥰

In March of 2025, the US put limits on Canadians using the main entrance on the US side into the Haskell Free Library, which straddles both sides of the border. Canadians had access since 1904. She made a large donation to get an entrance on the Canadian side.😊 www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

@piratebill.bsky.social Nice 4-2 win for Copper Cliff. North Bay has 6 wins so far, so the Reds did well. Hope they do as well at the 4:00 game. It's easier to find Declan when his jersey gets tucked into his pants at the back.😂 They sure had trouble with the streaming for the third period.😢

Today, we announced over $45 million in housing funding for Sudbury. With this funding, 3,300 new homes will be built in our city. The other number that counts is $22,162. That is how much a buyer can expect to save when buying a new home.  Read more here: tinyurl.com/82sdynwv

I was in the other room and suddenly could hear a dog yelping. I thought it was Simba so came running. Turns out it was from this tab in the computer I had left open. It's a live feed showing some puppies.😂🥰 areena.yle.fi/1-78104441

Today wasn't a good day. I've Injured my wrist from handling long heavy lumber while building roof trusses, docks and decks, but raking.😡 I said some bad words. Now stuck in a splint. Guess I'm taking a couple days off. Haven't moved my van for 3 weeks so I'll take it for a spin tomorrow instead.🤦‍♀️

@piratebill.bsky.social Just noticed it's a double header with North Bay Saturday. Game one at 11:00, Game two at 4:00. So nice to see they're doing better planning. I used to have to go to the Bay 4 times per year and get back home at midnight.

I've never taken any of these meds but did have an unexpected weight loss, which had the same results. More importantly, weight loss can also change your mammogram results. Tech knew I had lost weight given there was less fatty tissue and more fibrous which leaves me more open to breast cancer.☹️

Was able to do more of the backyard yesterday and some today. I think I'm at the halfway point for raking. Back and side is done so just the front, behind the sheds and the front side yard. Grant me the strength in my arms, shoulders, rib and lower spine to be able to do this for 2 more days.🤞

Once again having to remind the staff of 2nd supper 🙄 New tonight, #BestMedicine #RJDecker and premiering #NCISNY #Spike #TVPicks #Dogsofbluesky

In 1966, Bill Mason released his acclaimed live-action short film Paddle to the Sea with the National Film Board. The Oscar-nominated film became a fixture for Canadian children in schools for decades. This is the story of that film. 📸 NFB 🧵1/10

Joseph-Armand Bombardier's Ski-Doo revolutionized winter travel, especially in Canada's North. But that wasn't the original name. It was supposed to be Ski-Dog until a printing error changed everything. youtube.com/shorts/5QqP3...

Simba sure paid the price for his foray into the wild yesterday. He was awake most of the night coughing. He already has trouble with his breathing so walking through the leaves may have made it worse. Poor boy😢 He's doing better now. Needless to say, mom didn't get much sleep again. I'm in a fog.

Keep it up and hopefully many more people will pursue the trades.😊🇨🇦 www.sootoday.com/jobs-of-the-...

Simba came outside with me today, only because he saw me talking to a man earlier in the yard, gutter guy quote, and had to make sure he was gone.😂 Got about 1/8 of yard raked. Baby steps is all I can do lately.☹️

It is Referendum Day here in Alberta. If you didn't vote through a mail-in ballot (like the Log Driver and I did), or at the advance polls last week, get out there today and vote. Canada and Alberta are better together, not apart.

@piratebill.bsky.social That was a great game. Watching Declan get his medal reminded me of a guitar stand I made for my son so he could see his hockey medals. It eventually became quite full. Just a thought, if he plays guitar.

Memory's of fall of 1990, bringing my baby into the bush to cut wood in this huge wheeled carriage. Hard to believe that chubby baby 15 years later would be 6' tall and skinny. Should never have gone down this path today, but it happened.😭With that, I'll say goodnight.

I love my Simba, and don't mind to pull the ottoman close so he doesn't fall down, we do have to share it. At times I leave the room for a bit and come back to find that he's turned on my Roku sound bar and the monitor for it, has put my desktop into calculator mode, or changed language settings.🥰

@piratebill.bsky.social Was nice to see Declan score his first goal.😊 Hopefully 2 wins and a tie will keep them in for tomorrow. Sure missed our young play by play lad, but perhaps he had his own game to attend.

No, I haven't turned kinky. 🤣 I tried this set up for traction and it worked better than tying it to a table leg and having to lay on the floor. It's not as great as physio doing it but it does give some relief for a bit. Need to remove before electrician comes. Don't want him to think I'm kinky.😆

@piratebill.bsky.social The game is live and streaming is working.🤞

@cdnhistoryehx.bsky.social Something to keep in mind when your technology fails you while attempting to do a presentation. You are not alone.😂

Here's a short clip about him from @cdnhistoryehx.bsky.social bsky.app/profile/cdnh...

This reminds me so much of the raisin pies I used to make for my mothers elderly gentleman friend Louis. He sure loved them. Still miss him and making them for him.😢

Waiting for the builders next door to leave so they won't laugh at me bringing my blue box to the curb on a cart. Hurts too much to lift it. When I start bringing it out with curlers in my hair and wearing a housecoat, I'll know I've officially reached old lady status.🤣

100 years ago Winnie the Pooh appeared in his first full length novel, written by A.A. Milne. My son once asked me why I would give to others when we were struggling ourselves. Just remember, don't be selfish, be a Winnie.

True. Even the police do it. I was stalked by a man who would sit in his boat at the end of my dock. The police told me that maybe I shouldn't go outside in my front yard.😡Note: I wasn't wearing seductive attire, not that it should matter anyway.

Russian ballistic missiles struck a building in Kyiv, killing and injuring civilians. Ukraine reports its allies provided no advance warning for second consecutive day, amid reports Trump threatened to suspend intelligence sharing to force Ukraine to stop striking back at Russian oil refineries.

Hans Hendrick would later go on to guide and hunt for the British Arctic Expedition of 1875-76. His skills played an essential role. Able to secure fresh meat on sledging expeditions he mitigated the effects of scurvy. He was credited for his hunting, dog sled skills and saving the lives of many.
