“why are there so many allergies now! It must be the GMOs” …no there’s always been a lot of people with a lot of allergies, ppl were just quietly really sick from everything they ate & didn’t know why

There’s just so much rain here for a place known for “sunshine”

trying to figure out if my bad mood is really just a reasonable reaction to… this. Ugh.

Plz give me lunch ideas for MEEEEEE now. Smöl Boy’s covered. Lol.

I have ordered a truly shocking number of items from Children’s Place, hoping that literally any of it fits my Smöl Boy who is somehow still quite small for a human but also extremely large for a first grader

Once again thanking @amby.bsky.social for the boxed Mac & cheese recipe mod, tried it with Kraft this time, it’s perfect. I used 1½ cups water w/ ½ cup half & half

Every every every Dem needs to be hammering this. “You can’t even get Halloween candy for your neighbors.”

…the Myst library is in Fez. It even works the same way ❤️

…did I bring a small cooler and ice pack on my adventure today so that I can bring back fancy bakery delights (that sell out early) & not have to rush home? ………yes.

Are cap toe shoes actually a thing rn or is it like “stop trying to make fetch happen, it’s not going to happen”

u ever get a MTD so bad u wonder if it was counsel or AI that hallucinated the complaint allegations? Defendant’s making an unhinged argument that’s the equivalent of contesting his liability for a truck driver when this isn’t even an auto accident case??? And there’s no defendant even IN THAT ROLE?

Yes I LOVE having to open a support ticket for half my FedEx shipments now. Was this the awesome future AI promised us? 😑

Would love a BlueSky equivalent of Twitter’s “remove follower” bc I somehow have over 800 followers on here, & I keep blocking bots but they never disappear from my follower count

Relative posted about the incredible food in the distant country they all visited for cousin’s wedding a couple months ago, w/ gorgeous pics of meats, desserts, & everything in between!. MAGA cousin: “I didn’t care for any of it.” …good thing we didn’t expect you to!

I don’t understand the Rothy’s Revelvet trend. It looks like short-pile carpet. No thanks.

We’re encouraging people to carve #SaveTheAcademy pumpkins and then post them tagging @acadnatsci.bsky.social and Drexel (who isn’t on here), to continue the point that we’re not giving up. Get some templates and take action at save-the-academy.org (scroll down to find templates).

Also 💗Muffin has another Old Dog growth, this one on her front left leg, about 1/3 up from her dewclaw/wrist (this post is for record-keeping purposes)

Awww, 💗Muffin lounged so hard that a pillow fell off the couch, & its impact w/ the floor startled her out of her lounge 🩷🩷🩷

Saw a preview of the new Ali G movie, knew nothing about it & thought nothing of it, then saw this article, & now definitely want to see it www.theguardian.com/film/2026/oc...

Me: *refraining from yelling at Smöl Boy for a thing that I know he didn’t intentionally do* Smöl Boy: “mama that’s mean when you smile but say something not nice” Me: “my dude, that was me making an effort to not-yell at you, TAKE THE WIN.”

Re: LRT: in 2011, I wrote my LS Note on some hypothetical changes to election law and contribution disclosures in the wake of Citizens United & repeatedly cited Rick Hasen’s numerous academic articles on political speech. today, 15 years later, I’m RT-ing his memes. “It’s the same picture” dot gif.

Sigh.

This review of BEASTS OF THE WILD BLACK absolutely slayed me. Just sat here giggling. Well played Amazon reviewer. TBF, pretty much nailed my process. I feel seen.
