I did the deed in Tennessee. I live in a heavily red county and turn out appears very low. This could be good. I voted Green, Bradshaw, and Broderick. And NO on all three amendments.

Just arrived in my mailbox today. The final chapter of Thursday Next. It’s been a long wait but it’s finally here! 📚💙

Who would have thought that Congressional hearings would become the “not to be missed” TV?

#TN voters, republican Marsh Blackburn voted yes on the ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL to make HEALTH CARE MORE EXPENSIVE, CUT MEDICAID, & CAUSE TENNESSEANS TO LOSE INSURANCE. This is just who she is! Elect democrat Jerri Green @jerrigreen4tn.bsky.social as Governor. www.senate.gov/legislative/...

Excited to share some good news for Illinois families — we’ve reached over 100,000 children in our state receiving books from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Let’s keep reading.

So I voted yesterday. In case you live in Tennessee and aren’t aware, we have a primary going on for things like school board, county commission, and Roads Commissioner. I pulled a Democratic ballot and I had two names to vote for and one to write in. All were unopposed. But it’s so important. VOTE!

This is Goose, my grand cat. He’s visiting from the big city and enjoying his giant catio, ah my screened porch. I live in the woods so lots of new sounds and smells. I’m pretty sure he didn’t sleep all weekend.

This needs to be played on all channels every day until the midterms.

#NoKings

I’m on vacation in Puerto Rica so of course we had to attend their #NoKings rally. They combined this with a protest against a billionaire development. Maybe 2000 people and tons of unions represented. Just as you’d expect, lots of music.

Live Updates: Israel Says It Has Launched an Attack on Iran So Trump really needs a distraction, I suppose.

This was the best Super Bowl ever! Green Day and Brandi to start it off, then a dance party of a halftime show headlined by Bad Bunny. On top of that the team owned by a woman who didn’t give any money to Trump beat the team whose owner did and they did it in spectacular fashion!

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood. #Bluesky

Do you know what AI might actually be good at doing? Drawing competitive and fair congressional maps. It couldn’t be worse than what we’ve got now.

After not putting up a tree for the last couple of years, we put one up early this year. I do feel a bit more festive.
