Its sad that this still has to be explained to some. Police do not prevent crime. They respond to crime. Reducing poverty and investing in public institutions reduces crime.

The data centre financial model never made any sense. There was never going to be a positive ROI. So is this what its about? Bots for Musk and Zuckerberg et al? election engineering? Let's legislate mandatory audits of data centre traffic for bot activity and their reaction will tell us everything

And now the best part: Bot traffic from the #Yandex network has plunged to near zero following the strike on its Vladimir data center. Bot traffic includes automated requests from search crawlers, scrapers and other online services. Twitter must be a ghost town by now.

The senators go after Easton Cowan, grizzled veteran of 60+ games and the Leafs do fuck all. This team still sucks guys. I would be peeling the paint off the dressing room walls if I was Jim Hiller. Being an easy lay up on opponents schedule seems to be this teams kink

I'm not saying that the AI risk isn't real but I do find the timing interesting that just when investors were ready to realize their clearly impossible ROI, the product suddenly became too um dangerous and uh evil and no you can't see it

Saw a Face to Face show on the Danforth and it got me to thinking about whether it's nostalgia we feel or if the 90's were just that good. The 90's were just that good final answer.

Take a moment to sign. Could it create some issues short term for Carney's negotiations? Sure but I think long term, it also gives him some cover of being the good cop while Canadians are overwhelmingly hostile to Washington. On a human level, fuck it, just kick that worm out.
