honest to god, I feel like I need a phd to understand and implement a custom feed… not keen on using the template repo (it seems old and bloated to me) already using @skyfeed.app and it works, but it's missing some needed filtering options (plus our use-case requires search—no good api for that)

joined bluesky last month and tried self-hosting a single-user pds… I'd HIGHLY discourage anyone from doing the same at least when using one apex domain for pds, handle, and website (it was more of a headache than I think it was worth) maybe it's an unreasonable ask but that's my ocd for you
