The 12th(!) Gender Reveal grant cycle is now open for applications! As always, these funds are for organizing / community projects led by trans people of color. We are particularly interested in funding existing projects that materially support trans folks, queer people of color, immigrants, etc.

I want a world where women can exist without constantly worrying about the violence their peers can inflict on them. It hurts every time this happens

still trying to wrap my head around the news about Jacob. thanks for your patience. in the meantime, Sadie‘s written this:

In light of recent news, we are removing from our feeds our episode featuring Jacob Geller as a guest. This post has our full statement, as well as some context about our upcoming schedule. We stand in solidarity with all survivors of sexual violence. www.patreon.com/TSTVshow/pos...

feeling this hard -- i am so glad that there is an actual conversation that's taking place around cornell, and that survivors coming forward isn't being dismissed as 'woke 1' or whatever the fuck. and it's also hard to ignore that we've been here before, in the recent past, and nothing changed.

Yeah this Cornell thing is like a mass disabling event for survivors. I am fine, I *was* fine. But now it's in the zeitgeist again so I get to be reminded of my own college experience, something I hadn't thought about in decades, on a daily basis.

Human hair reworked. Band of needle lace made from human hair, England, c. 1640 - c. 1680. The thicker lines may be horse hair. (V&A, London)

bugs me when people take this Disco Elysium quote at face value. Joyce is the arch-capitalist, she has Margaret Thatcher hair, of course she believes capitalism is iron-clad

five seconds later, she calls the RCM "a true citizen's initiative", which we know from Kim isn't true. the woman is a professional negotiator! of course she's spinning it!
