I already wasn't a fan of Java before, but you can bet your ass I won't use it going forward and I won't support any oracle products in the workspace. They spent 60 billion for AI data centers and to "offset that cost" they ruined 30k+ lives. Literally one of the 10 largest layoffs in history.

Having actually started up in an Actual Play podcast I have to say that my appreciation for the efforts it takes to make a quality product are way higher.
