I do think that "I learned it by watching you!" is more famous. Mostly because it can be used in so many situations On the othert hand the "This is brain on drugs" did get a Robot Chicken sketch youtu.be/gVz2oXqlmbg
Hive mind, settle a Gen X debate for me. What's more famous: "I learned it by watching you" OR "This is your brain on drugs" And if you need more context then you aren't allowed to answer.
This just kind've reminds me of whenever a friend of mine orders a burger, plain Just the deer in headlights look he gets from the person behind the counter at like McF'd "So ahh.. no pickles?" buddy: No, plain, I want bread, meat then more bread Cashier: So uhm did you want ketchup on it?
Good idea. I may have to have weird necrotic effects happen with the various altars around the combat map the current fight is on. It'll be fun1 PC: I take cover behind this altar DM: Ok, make me a con save as you suddenly feel something in the altar start trying to absorb your soul
FRPG GM Tip: Have a short list of stock environmental effects on hand that can be added to any encounter and that you know how to run. Then drop in one of those effects anytime a fight becomes less entertaining than you expected. Cult battle feeling flat? Time for that shrine of evil to explode!
Or to be used whenever someone gets Gailed by a post from @gailsimone.bsky.social
Saving for future use in case I ever make a joke on bluesky dot app.
I really need to get off my butt and get my new #D&D campaign set up on Roll20. Not going to start for a few weeks yet, but I really should get maps and stuff set up so I'm not scrambling when we do start And need to build some monsters. Once again using ideas from @redwyrm.bsky.social .
You know, cheesecake in a rice cooker never really occured to me. Welp, guess I have a use for that second rice cooker. Off to look for receipes!
YouTube showed me a bunch of "Japanese style cheesecake in the rice cooker" videos and I'm about to make that my problem. I mentioned I should bake one for my birthday and this could be a fun and ridiculous attempt. (Thankfully the grocery is near enough to have regular ingredients on backup.)

You know this is an interesting idea. Never really thought about this before, but it would actually be kinda neat Coastal city is obvious but have a large city state and the surrounding area that has no magic. What kind of gods would they worship if even Divine magic doesn't work?
May your favored settings lore become complex enough that folks can make geopolitical spiritual maps of where pantheons have influence and where they are in conflict with each other 😂
I was collecting X-factor already and when this change over was announced at first I was upset, but the writing of this issue changed my mind Was really glad I was able to get my copy of it signed by Peter David
X-Factor #71 (Oct, 1991) by #PeterDavid, #LarryStroman, Al Milgrom and Glynis Oliver #XFactor
Oh I wholeheartedly agree with this. Unless you have a plan for it, story beats or some survival mechanic that they have to roll for. Skip the travel and get to the interesting stuff Just say This will take X many days. Is there anything you want to do during that time? No need to go day by day
RPG tip from the archive: Don't be afraid to skip the boring travel parts of an adventure and get right to the meaty bits. #dnd #ttrpg
Some of my all time favorites would be the original Secret Wars. Some of the first times seeing some of these heroes team up And then I loved Acts of Vengeance. Especially with Spidey going cosmic in fits and how villains meeting him for the first time weren't expecting that And my favorite bit
Here is my comics question of the day! I enjoy most crossovers and event comics, some have been among my favorite stories. But no question fatigue can set in, and some are great while some aren’t. What is your all-time favorite event or crossover comic book or series?
