Pssst hey! This is 87% funded with 9 days left to go! Let's get Sage Council to the finish line so this awesome game can be made 💜 Please consider checking out the Kickstarter if you haven't already, or reposting Kelly's original post so others can check it out! 💜

Let's talk a bit about the design of Sage Council, and why I reckon it's a great ttrpg to introduce people to the hobby. Of course it needs your backing to get made so if any of this sparks your interest, please do check it out below!

Has anybody ever hear of pirate-ship? Its supposed to be a one stop shipping service for cheaper rates, cheaper expedited service, home label printing, tracking, etc. A friend mentioned it to me the other day and she had a good experience, but shes only used it once

I will NEVER cold dm about work. I will also never contact you through discord regarding work unless you ask me to first.

⚠ PSA to artists and clients on #VGen about a Discord scam going around!! ⚠ a scammer is scraping profiles (both artists and clients) to make fake discord accounts impersonating them, then reaching out to people they've worked with in the past who have their discord info publicly visible

Here's a chance to ask Kelly and Cam your TTRPG or Sage Council questions! 💜 And please check out the game if you haven't already! They're already over halfway funded, get in on a unique card/TTRPG combo! Support indie games 💜 Will you be the one to push them to 60%? 🫵

Kelly Whyte@kellywhyte.bsky.social

Let's do an AMA with Sage Council! Anything you'd like to know about the game, it's design process, or even crowdfunding and making ttrpgs in general, you're welcome to ask and @rustysellsword.com or I will answer. As always, please do share and check out the campaign too! #ttrpg #ama #kiwirpg

That makes SO much sense and now I just wish they had leaned into it a little harder and done away with the soft angles/lines on everything thats not clothing for the characters. Can you imagine how cool an entire Zelda stylized like a puppet show would be? (Wind Waker's boss rush not withstanding)

WAIT HOLD ON IM NOT CRAZY, YALL SEE IT TOO, RIGHT?? LIKE HES JUST MALO ISNT HE?

Grievances with graphics aside, I DO like most of the gameplay changes they’ve shown. And I wont ever say theres no point to remaking the game; most kids that will have heard of it from older siblings or family members wont have access to the older consoles needed to play it. This is archival work.

My personal taste in visuals doesnt and shouldnt impact the fun that a new generation will have with this, and since none of the changes seem to impact the heart of the game from what Ive seen, Im not going to bash it. I will only acknowldge its probably not for me 😅

WHY DID THEY MODEL INDIVIDUAL TEETH ON THE CHARACTERS FOR THE OOT REMAKE???? ICK YUCKY MAKE IT GO AWAY
