guerilla speed bumps should be more of a thing

Less than 24 hours later and 3/4 mile away, a speeding car hit a tree so hard that the tree is blocking 35th and the car engine is smoking.

love how I have to use 5000 gallons of water and .2 BTC worth of electricity now just to get a simple support request filled when it would take a human 3 seconds.

I oppose AI about as strongly as possible but I can't avoid it. I'm just trying to make changes to my utility account but the dumb AI is stuck in a loop and there is no way to get *actual* help for my problem because support has been replaced by useless AI.

In some personal news, my partner and I are the new owners of reginascandies.com, which is 100 years old this year! We feel so fortunate to learn the craft of small batch chocolate and confections from a family that has has done it their whole life, and aim to continue the tradition into the future

Candy may not be a necessity, but joy is and we aim be a simple form of it, however temporary, for our neighbors and community. Do stop by if you have a sweet tooth and don't be afraid to say hi!

Any traffic nerds know if posts that are on Marshall Ave in St. Paul need to adhere to 'Crashworthiness'? The statute mentions the implementation date is for roads posted at >= 50 mph but I'm curious if there are any other city or state laws that may apply. www.dot.state.mn.us/stateaid/cra...

The question remains if the non-crashworthy device in the road clear-zone is against the law and who to contact. St. Paul Public Works? City Councillor? As a Minneapolitan I'm out of my depth

I'm mostly curious because there is a Flock camera on the hill coming up from the river that I know is not installed in a crashworthy manner, and i would love to find a legal way to have it removed in order to protect the safety of automotive, bike and pedestrian traffic

kind of dissapointing that out of the hundreds of artists at the Stone Arch festival only Bench Pressed had art that referenced ICE and the federal invasion of a few months ago.

I am increasingly impatient with the use of space in this city. Too many streets for cars and not people. Narrow sidewalks with no seating. Not a bathroom in sight. And then we wonder why commercial corridors sit quiet. Look what we do with a little breathing room! This should be every day.

Close the streets so kids can play in them. This is an official position.

anyone aware of how she assisted and is still assisting ICE will see this and say hell yeah

MnDot has closed the last remaining pedestrian crossing of Hiawatha between 94 and 28th street. if you are a pedestrian who wants to cross Hiawatha you will need to walk almost a mile out of your way or walk in traffic because MnDot thinks this strategy will stop encampments from forming.

if there is a cement ugly traffic circle doing the amazing work in your neighborhood of slowing down automobiles you and your neighbors have the opportunity and responibility to put planters, art, and other beautiful things in it
