Last minute one but supporting Bitchin Bajas tomorrow at Liverpool's Kazimier Stockroom www.seetickets.com/event/bitchi...

This was a great chat with a lovely human. Tune in tomorrow to listen to it back!

Here are the rest of my gigs for 2026, where I'm exclusively playing in cities that start with the letter "L". Link here for tickets where applicable! linktr.ee/polypores

Heads up MCR

@stevenc63.bsky.social Thank you for the retweet, sir! Did you see I'm on my way to Belfast next year? buytkts.co.uk/events/wrntd...

Excited to announce a further date added supporting the mighty @warringtonruncorn.com - at Arena, Crewe, on 15th November ✨

No big deal. No tags. Just my 300th episode of Trev's Virtual Cassette Library. Every 10th is a best of. Tracks with that little extra sparkle for me. They are always free and there are now 7 of them. www.mixcloud.com/djsofabed/tv...

Really looking forward to supporting my man Gordon at @futureyard.org in spring next year 🙏

The agony of being torn between two great books landing at once - from @jonronson.bsky.social and @badwool9.bsky.social

Off to watch @badwool9.bsky.social tonight at FACT Liverpool, who's going? www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iJD...

Three weeks until we welcome Liverpool writer and storyteller, Roy, to Emotion Wave - with myself providing a sonic backdrop. We also have Jez Thelwell, aaypea and B.A.G.S. playing live and hybrid DJ sets ✨

My next gig will be a squiggly modular/drum machine techno(ish) set at the legendary Attack/Release in Glasgow! 26th August, at Bloc +, 9pm, FREE ENTRY! Hope to see some of you there!

I need a pint.

My mix from the Aural Canyon radio show is up now! Featuring the likes of @lofive.bsky.social @jo-johnson.bsky.social @jamesholden.bsky.social and loads more cosmic jazz/spacey ambient/psychedelic soul/polyrhymic weirdness and an incredible Stevie Wonder song that he didn't actually sing on.

Our next Live Soundtracks to Silent Films event is 8th Sept FACT Liverpool in the Box Room An evening of live electronic music and avant-garde early film Very limited tickets to 50 £12 advance fact.co.uk/film/live-soundtracks-to-silent-films-2 Don't miss this - they do tend to sell out...

I really love this new one from my old friend Stephen. As well as being an aesthetic and production curve ball, which is massively impressive in itself, for me it's a step up emotionally. Beautiful, considerate, messy - just very human.

A quick weekend reminder of this show I’m putting on here in Holmfirth in a few weeks, which will be the first of many Holmfirth Sound Society events to come! wegottickets.com/f/20023/

Thirteen tracks over two LPs - electronic pop, ambient, drone rock and more as yet to be categorised…

I’m going to play a full live visual show in London in November. It’s going to be absolutely bananas and feature images of old raves, worms and massive eyes dice.fm/event/923yn9...

I’ve been making music with synthesizers for ten years, but next month I’m putting out an album with no synthesizers on it whatsoever. Wildlife is out on 7th August via @auralcanyon.bsky.social , on cassette tape and digital.

Announcing: Emotion Wave, Thursday 10th September at Commune Liverpool, featuring Roy + Lo Five, Jez Thelwell, B.A.G.S. and aaypea

Thrilled to be an RA pick for Emotion Wave tomorrow 🖤 ra.co/events/2480651

This Thursday if anyone's near Liverpool, from lush ambient to modular shredding 🔥

how is it harder to artwork the LP vinyl labels than the actual album cover

I have some T-Shirts for sale. They are a lovely shade of green, and were designed by Nick Taylor for CiS a few years back. These are all that are left. Grab them here, while you still can, and help pay my therapy bills: polypores.bandcamp.com/merch/limite...

Just over a fortnight until the next Emotion Wave at Commune Liverpool - with Quieting, Long Fiend and Paula Salurand 🔥🔥🔥

Coming later this week : ‘Songs Of Soil’ - a very short film about making an album using the sound recordings of worms. Featuring many worms, my compost bin and a probe contact microphone. Stand by!

I've just had the pleasure of listening to advance copies of new albums from @apta.bsky.social and @lofive.bsky.social and you folks are in for an absolute delight. Two albums of stripped back ambience of distinctly different vibes and sounds, and both of them utterly exquisite.

The first Holmfirth Sound Society event is coming on Sunday Aug 30th with The Mistys and Pefkin @pefkin.bsky.social! I’m super excited to be hosting events here and this first one perfectly kicks things off. Everything here : linktr.ee/holmfirthsou...

The way things are going, my next album will likely be 40 minutes of brown noise.

A new track out today produced under my Two Way Mirrors project, released on Frosti : frostilabel.bandcamp.com/album/some-m... A taste of next month's release on the label, which is a split CD + cassette between myself working as TWM and another artist!
