Polypores

I’m playing at The Pub in Lancaster this Sat with Dull and Callis, as part of the Music Co-op Halloween night! I’ll be doing a set of gonzo-techno ravecave bangers, so wear your dancing shoes! 💃 Will also have some rare and/or slightly cheaper vinyl so bring your pocket money! 💰 Starts at 7.30pm 👽

Just added! We've done a new run of our Flowers At The Border remix tapes, featuring the talents of (amongst others) @polypores.bsky.social, @kgallerneaux.bsky.social, @mueka.bsky.social, @matthewjashton.bsky.social objectsforever.bandcamp.com/album/flower...

Honoured to be on this beautiful compilation! 💚💚💚

I'll be heading down to London on Sunday where I'll be supporting @maiovvi.bsky.social at The Waiting Room. Really excited to bring my psychoid rave-cave bangers to the capital again! Please come early so you don't miss me :) Get your tickets here: wegottickets.com/f/25173

POLL: In a hypothetical universe in which vinyl was no longer viable for me, how would you prefer to buy Polypores physical releases? Tape or CD? (Digital will always be a thing, obviously).

Thrilled to have a track on this fantastic compilation on this fantastic label! Absolute treat for your ears.

I produced/played some synth/additional instruments on this GORGEOUS little EP by Audrey's Dance. Woozy sadcore/dreampop, like Twin Peaks on very strong sedatives: audreysdancemusic.bandcamp.com/album/radio-...

Bedtime Stories: psychedelic ambience with wonders by @warringtonruncorn.com @castlesinspace.bsky.social @theorblive.bsky.social @polypores.bsky.social @boycalledcrow.bsky.social @mortalitytables.bsky.social @bricolageg5.bsky.social @moonwiringclub.bsky.social wyrddaze.wordpress.com/2026/09/23/b...

I'm playing in London on 18th October, with Ye Gods and Dream Division! Can't wait to bring some of my new sounds to this. Tickets here: wegottickets.com/f/25173/

Really pleased to have been interviewed for the fantastic @wyrddaze.bsky.social Zine - where I talk about the making of Wildlife, my experience of being autistic, and Sticklebricks. Some fantastic art and writing here! Scroll down to download the PDF: wyrddaze.wordpress.com/2026/09/16/w...

I’m loving this set from @polypores.bsky.social in Glasgow. It’s beat-driven but with plenty else going on, much of it playful and fun, proper puts a smile on your face while tapping your toes.

The video of my performance at Attack Release Glasgow is up on Youtube! It's a more dancefloor-leaning Polypores than usual, was loads of fun doing this and I really loved playing. Recording will be up on my Subscription Bandcamp next week: youtu.be/07SjGytqic8?...

Really enjoyed doing this podcast interview! Top lads, good questions. Give it a listen if you want some insight into Polypores-World.

Starling Sessions is Moonbuilding's 'Album of the Week' 🐣⚡️🙏

A couple of outtakes from "Wildlife" are now available on my Subscription Bandcamp. I actually really like these, not sure why they didn't make the cut, but anyway, here they are. Subscribe for a mere £3.50/month for loads of exclusives material: subpolypores.bandcamp.com/album/outtak...

Fantastic times at Attack/Release in Glasgow! That place has shot high up in my list of favourite places to play. Lovely place and people! Thanks everyone who came 🕶️

perpetual polymath @polypores.bsky.social impresses profoundly presenting powerful performances pounding percussion and plinking piano! ...on this new tape! from @auralcanyon.bsky.social ! auralcanyonmusic.bandcamp.com/album/wildlife

A second run of Wildlife cassettes will go on sale via my Bandcamp on Tuesday 25/08 at 7am UK time! There are only 20 so will (hopefully) sell out quickly. Thanks again for everyone’s support for this album!!

Another lovely review of “wildlife” here! Second batch of tapes coming soon! ⚡️✌️⚡️

My next gig will be a squiggly modular/drum machine techno(ish) set at the legendary Attack/Release in Glasgow! 26th August, at Bloc +, 9pm, FREE ENTRY! Hope to see some of you there!

Nice to see Wildlife out in the …wild.

Thanks to @acloudtotheback.bsky.social for this rad review - "this is an album generously overflowing with organically generated conceptions, full-bodied musicality and intrepid invention. Trying to pick out the highlights is close to impossible" News on the 2nd run of UK tapes coming soon!

Wildlife tapes are here! Will post tomorrow. Thanks @auralcanyon.bsky.social 🙏✌️⚡️

I was a little wary about this - what with the no synths warning - but it's superb. 100% recommendation from me.

New music from @polypores.bsky.social. Fill your soul. polypores.bandcamp.com/album/wildlife

My mix from the Aural Canyon radio show is up now! Featuring the likes of @lofive.bsky.social @jo-johnson.bsky.social @jamesholden.bsky.social and loads more cosmic jazz/spacey ambient/psychedelic soul/polyrhymic weirdness and an incredible Stevie Wonder song that he didn't actually sing on.

#enclosurethree recommends @polypores.bsky.social All of it, but especially the latest albums, Wrigglers (out on @crackedankles.bsky.social) and Wildlife - absolutely fascinating.

THANK YOU to everyone who has supported Wildlife so far! TBH I thought it would alienate everyone! UK tapes will be going out soon, and a second batch is on it's way. Still some US tapes over at @auralcanyon.bsky.social Bandcamp: auralcanyonmusic.bandcamp.com/album/wildlife 🙏

Honoured to have done a mix for my favourite radio show! Featuring cosmic jazz, psychedelic soul, spacey synths, polyrhythmic avant-rock, woozy house, and magickal mininalism.

New mix with music from @bunkr303.bsky.social @megaheadphoneboy.bsky.social @matt-chester.bsky.social @polypores.bsky.social @paulsdmcr.bsky.social @isolatedcommunity.bsky.social @masefieldlabs.bsky.social @machine-records.bsky.social @toxicchicken.bsky.social + more www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_OP...

"Wildlife" Bandcamp listening party tonight! 7pm UK time. Join us and find out why the hell I made an album without any synthesizers, and much more besides! Link below. polypores.bandcamp.com/album/wildlife

AOTD #5: @polypores.bsky.social - Wildlife (Aural Canyon) Polypores is always tweaking his approach but rarely is the reinvention this dramatic, ditching his trademark synths for a bramble of musical ideas, teeming with naive melodies and percussion that revels in tactility.

I really love this new one from my old friend Stephen. As well as being an aesthetic and production curve ball, which is massively impressive in itself, for me it's a step up emotionally. Beautiful, considerate, messy - just very human.

This is an incredible album from Stephen. An absolute revelation of a record.

Thanks everyone who has bought/shared Wildlife! UK tapes are sold out until we do the second edition (soon!) but there's still a couple of US copies left over on the @auralcanyon.bsky.social Bandcamp: auralcanyonmusic.bandcamp.com/album/wildlife
