Alright, I guess I'm doing this. I HAVE RETURNED TO PATREON. Most of you are aware that I lost my day job and have been unceremoniously thrust into the role of a full-time Comic Person. While my lettering work is certainly robust, I still need more help than that. www.patreon.com/cw/longtallj...

This is why I encourage other comics people to really look at the deadline they've been assigned and if it's even feasible. And not "it will kill me, but I can do it" feasible, either. Sometimes deadlines are arbitrary and can be adjusted! Especially early in the process! Ask for what you need!

God, I cannot wait for this book. And yes, I've decided that today I'm just reposting good news from my friends.

Cas and several other amazing people are makin' a WORM!

Of note: this is a very IDW Comics Secret Lair! Hello @chrisfenoglio.bsky.social and Derek Charm!

Thinking about my Favorite Chekov Moments and decided that top of the list is when he got so horny for an illusionary old west lady that he got gunned down. (He got better.)

Great news if you loved The Last Starship, one of the Kirk's color profiles will let you run Borg Agnes in his deck.

Star Trek Magic has great news if you wanna accidentally turn into a lizard with your boss, then bone down and have lizard babies before turning back into humans again.

The art on this card is so fun.

The heavens speed thee in thine enterprise!

RIP Walter Koenig. Among your many other accomplishments, thank you for Bigger Spock.

I've decided that when Super Mario started wearing blue overalls instead of red overalls is when we drifted from the light of God.

Last week at Broken Frontier... “There’s a Real Joy in Giving a Story a Good End” – Kate Ashwin on Saying Goodbye to the Cast of Her Webcomic ‘Widdershins’ After an Impressive 15 Years. www.brokenfrontier.com/kate-ashwin-...

I like when Popeye bunches a dude so hard he turns into a meat market.

The Artist's Edition shelf was getting structurally unsound, so I used my expert carpentry skills to build a bookend. I'm sure it's fine.

My name is Jenny. I no longer answer to Tony. I know this is complicated. Jenny Blake is the name I write under. Jenny Blake Isabella will be my legal name. Tony Isabella is the name on my previous work. I haven't figured out how to change my email address yet. Complicated.

Find out why I love the old Gold Key Star Trek #comics www.patreon.com/posts/170394...

Hi, I'm watching WrestleDream a week late and just saw "THE PANTS KICKED OUT!" This is truly the king of sports.

I'm at a wine tasting up in Cave Creek and I shouted "hey, they use Star Trek font!" about his signage and the dude running it hit me with a 🖖. I went with The Best of Both Worlds.

Let the record show that @iniquitousfish.bsky.social made me candy and I don't think there's drugs in them but there's definitely pumpkin spice and that's awesome.

I'm pondering the fact that if a 4:3 OLED existed, I'd probably buy it.

God, I love the Raider's March. Nothing else ever composed so perfectly encapsulates "Man, that was fun, now onto the next adventure!" quite like when that baby rolls in at the end of every movie.

Pimploe is the spectacular character find of 2026. #Dimension20

Jeopardy YouTube Edition 2 was predictably a hoot. I suppose it helps that I was already a fan of all three contestants.

I appear to be notably losing weight, and I can only attribute it to my "can no longer afford to eat take-out every day for lunch" diet.

Star Trek Magic is good and I will hear no other opinions.

My extremely professional e-mail to an editor: "HOLY COW, THAT ART IS SICK AS HELL."

My job can be kinda stressful because, like, I'm the last person in the chain. If I don't hit my deadlines, the book doesn't go to print. And that can be HARD. But good lord do I fucking LOVE IT. I love the work and I love the books and I love the people. God damn comics rule.

Oh MAN, the next Planet Coaster 2 update is incredible. * Drop tower with movable cars (Tower of Terror) * Inverted dark ride (Peter Pan) * Walkthrough attractions (half of the Haunted Mansion / Hollywood Horror Nights) Among many other things. Absolutely nuts. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3I5z...

Disneyland should let me hang out for free. I'll influence for them. I hold sway over the masses.

Jesus Christ.

Y'ALL. We just locked this baby and it's so damn good. There's only a couple weeks until FOC, and having the numbers at a sustainable level is what lets us keep making it every year. It's full of scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases long long ago! Also Dracula is there.

Part of my literal job is to fly out to physical game studios to rescue and recover historical materials that might be endangered and put them in a permanent archive. @gamehistoryorg.bsky.social is a 501(c)3 publicly funded to do that, my DMs are open, and I'm free for the next couple weeks...

I respect this dude from Plex who was like, "Just fired, use Jellyfin instead."

I'd get rid of the egg.
