Inside of you, there are two wolves:

GALAXY: THE PRETTIEST STAR & GALAXY: AS THE WORLD FALLS DOWN are sci-fi graphic novels about how being trans is beautiful, queer love is life-saving, & how to live when an empire wants you dead. I made them with @deuxdel.bsky.social, @airy.bsky.social, @ryehickman.bsky.social & @longtalljodie.com

I'll also be at Ssalefish Comics in Greensboro from 12-2pm on November 1st! They've got a Galaxy poster in the window!

Good rule of thumb: Estimate how long the work will take and ADD 30% more time! Then if that fits in your schedule, accept. If it doesn't, say why.

I am b e g g i n g people to mask up at major cons, *especially* ones with 5-digit crowd sizes!! Lightbox this weekend was absolutely ravaged; I’m hearing of SO many attendees and exhibitors who got sick from doing the show this year!! Please stay safe out there! 🙏 🙏

In honor of the passing of the great Walter Koenig, please enjoy this clip from The 1987 Fangoria Weekend of Horrors convention VHS featuring Walter Koenig and his son Andrew (who we all knew and loved as Boner on Growing Pains) attending the con.

GALAXY: AS THE WORLD FALLS DOWN, by me, @ryehickman.bsky.social, and @longtalljodie.com. You can buy it here: bookshop.org/a/125145/978...

Me: I love writing. Exploring these made up characters and worlds fills me with endless joy. It comes with an ease only surpassed by breathing or the beating of my own heart. Also Me:

Yes, I’m GAY: Gay Absolutely Yes

I started writing a new book today.

I absolutely love this bit of Kristy's conversation with Maria Bamford and think it imparts a really important lesson that it's important for a lot of us to take to heart. Be glad with what you have, the life you've made for yourself. Don't let Capitalism nag you to death and unhappiness

Hello, new followers! Are you looking for comics about how being trans is beautiful, how queer love is transformative, the difficulties of claiming your identity, how to fight supervillains while dealing with the weight of the world on your shoulders? 'Cause those are my favorite themes!

I’m a guest and I’m saaaaaur stoked 🤩

Because folks have asked, I have created a Galaxy Reading Guide on bookshop.org. Not only can you acquire all of Galaxy's major appearances, but I have put them in Narrative Order, should you wish to read them that way. bookshop.org/lists/galaxy...

Omg no, he was so young. Damn. He was such a talented voice actor. It’s on the mind because I literally just watched it yesterday, but he got asked to do the taken monologue as porky pig and its a masterpiece

Your Monday FLASH GORDON! Here begins our new ten-week storyline: THE HEAT 🔥

I've been dealing with book bannings for over half a decade now, but this one is hitting me hard. I think it's the combination of blatant discrimination, dishonesty, and the fact that it's in my own neck of the woods. theauthorvillage.substack.com/p/banned-by-...

Me and @ryehickman.bsky.social get all sorts of gay and creepy with this one! You're gonna want it! www.kickstarter.com/projects/sta...
