The Heritage Classic and all the stories of outdoor rinks has me remembering our own in northern BC. Each school I went to would have its own rink: either a tennis court or outdoor basketball court flooded over during the winter. Pick-up games after school and on the weekends.

Angry people are motivated to vote. Annoyed people are motivated to stay home. “My party is playing stupid games… why bother?” My default party couldn’t muster a candidate, but I still voted. The “lesser of two evils” is still a vote for less suffering. Apathy is a vote for pain and misery.
