Thousands left without water in the middle of winter in the UK. And those same people are now facing a massive bill hike. Privatised water is a scam. I've written to the Prime Minister asking why he won't end this rip off and bring failing South East Water into public hands.

For non-soccer fans: this scandal is basically a microcosm of what is going on everywhere re: the ultra-wealthy doing whatever they want because they can. Man City cheated like hell. But here is the prime minister implying they’re just too valuable to the UK to hold to account. It sucks

I'm seeing a lot of videos at the moment showing positive communal events, with crowds singing, celebrating and enjoying life together. I've a feeling this isn't just a coincidence, but the start of an organic counter-reaction against the negative division that's been driving us apart for 10+ years.
