I'm glad I played sports before the current "burn the witches" craziness, but feel bad for girls in sports now. I watched a girls basketball tournament a few years ago and all the hair and makeup seemed an effort to prove how "girly" they are, and not LGBTQIA. I felt bad for the kids and society.

Doctors and nurses are voicing their objections. I-638 would require EVERY girl who wants to participate in sports to go through biological sex verification. That means expensive, invasive, and utterly gross examinations. Protect our kids and let them play. Vote NO on I-638

As someone later diagnosed with PCOS, and who was bigger and stronger than the average girl, I'm sure I would have been subjected to this "prove you're girly enough" nightmare. I probably would have dropped out of sports.

The equivalent for boys would be to prove they are masculine enough, and because of men's fragile egos, I don't think most would subject their sons to testosterone testing. But Hegseth wants all male "warriors" tested, so who knows.

We all pay for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and education. We cannot continue to let politicians raid these systems, refuse to deal with funding, provide themselves with benefits not available to all, pay for wars we don't need, and then claim we are too broke to meet our commitments.

Moms For Liberty named RJ May the South Carolina Legislator of the Year for 2023 for his efforts to protect children from the evils of the LGBTQ community. He was just sentenced to 17.5 years in federal prison followed by 30 years of supervised probation for distributing child pornography.

It's important to keep pointing out: Jimmy Kimmel didn't say anything about Charlie Kirk. He criticized Trump and his MAGA freaks for gleefully exploiting Kirk's death. That's what got him suspended. And that's what makes this different and even more dangerous.

Not bizarre. Only people who believe Ghislaine’s word are same people who believe Trump is second coming of Christ. Look at how many pedophiles are their political & religious leaders. They believe pedophile pastors over their own children. Cognitive dissonance is strong in groomed cult members.

One interesting thing to think about is that there has never been a way to access all the huge troves of data across the US government as a whole. Besides the computing challenge, it’s also been questionable given our basic values to create what would essentially be a Department of Information.
