And that helps bring down the cost of living how exactly? What I see is not self-confidence but a serious lack of seriousness not to mention puerile locker room behavior in someone purporting to be a public servant.

A vulnerability that has been created by our own DoD and the person running it if I am not mistaken.

EXCLUSIVE: Pentagon Fears Drone Attacks on U.S. and Foreign Bases Government officials said a series of recent attacks and threats have highlighted the vulnerability of U.S. military bases. theintercept.com/2026/10/27/p...

One thing is for certain: Mike Rogers has yet to answer any question concerning what he plans to do to relieve Michiganders of the burdens they're bearing due to the policies of this administration. Because he has no answers. He has only smears, insults, lies and fabrications, just like DT.

“ I didn’t hear the question“ I NEED a Different question! 😂

Hey Dems: DT just handed you the best pre-midterm election gift you could want! Spread it far and wide, shout it from every mountain top and paste it on billboards throughout the country.

This is why Trump just said at his rally that he doesn’t care about high gas prices because people who own stakes in the oil and gas industry are getting rich.

It's hard to determine when you have a government with no bottom but frankly, we should not be tolerating any of this anymore. We should be insisting on substance--tell us your plan/idea/proposal or whatever. Put an end to demonizing.

Susan McPherson@susanmcp.bsky.social

It turns out that voters will tolerate a certain degree of negative campaigning — but they have their limits. As Vivek Ramaswamy is now finding out (and learning a BIG lesson) By @paulwaldman.bsky.social in @atrupar.com's latest PN: open.substack.com/pub/aaronrup...

Just curious if anyone has researched the amount of time he has spent spewing bs on TS vs having any kind of substantive convos with legislators about how to reduce the cost of living for the millions of Americans suffering under that burden.

If you need preemptive pardons for the junior staff, you are de facto admitting that they are engaged in federal crimes. There is no other reason for pardons, which are admissions of guilt. Think on that as you go to vote and decide whether you think we need to reinstate checks on the president.

Mickey Kuhns@mickeykuhns.bsky.social

If you’re thinking about pardoning junior admin staff before midterms then you just exposed how deep the corruption runs.

Guess who voted early yesterday? The very man who has tried many times to keep the rest of us from doing so insisting that it leads to fraud. A man with no principles save to empower and enrich himself is NOT a leader we will tolerate anymore. #VoteBlue2026

Well, well, well…. An analysis of voter registration records reveals Republican operative Scott Presler had 3 out-of-state voters use his Pennsylvania address to vote in the 2024 election. This is what voter fraud looks like.

Now if all those people vote Blue and take a few friends or family with them to vote Blue, we can get this thing done.

After the recent Trump rallies, it's a novelty to see a president able to fill a venue again.

The definition of insanity: doing the same thing over & over & expecting different results. They keep inviting him to speak publicly but always seem surprised when he reveals clearly his mental lack of fitness to serve. And they will not acknowledge it. Not publicly at least.

Patrick Chovanec@prchovanec.bsky.social

The interesting part is when Trump claims Paxton helped him find millions and millions of votes to throw out.

On Feb 27 of this year I paid $2.79 a gallon. Today it is $4.79. In just 10 months. Diesel is $6.79. This didn't need to happen. The war with Iran was totally unnecessary. This is what comes of electing a reality tv star to the most important position on the planet, not once but twice. #Vote

Indivisible Central Michigan@indivcentralmi.bsky.social

The first day of early voting has concluded. Did you vote today? Show off your sticker! Didn’t vote yet? Keep in mind regular gas at Pickard Speedway on Election Day in 2024 was $3.05. Today it’s 4.79 per gallon.

And vote early if you can--it is the best way to preclude interference from those who do not care at all about what is listed below!

That there is even one person standing there who believes this is appropriate for a president to be doing/saying tells us we have very hard work ahead of us. We must break the addiction to entertainment uber alles.

Trump: "I'm trying to change New Mexico. I'm trying to change New Mexico. It's a good state that went wayward. They have crooked elections ... I want to change it to New America. The value of their homes will double"

No surprise that an adjudicated sexual assaulter would side with the mother who sided with a sexual assaulter against her own daughter AND aided and abetted him to flee the jurisdiction to avoid arrest.

The Tool Cabinet

Ron Filipkowski@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social

In the Republican Party, this is your ticket to success. Not policy achievements. Not improving people’s lives. It’s who can kiss Trump’s ass in the most shameless way possible. His cabinet is a perfect example, where they do it every single day. That’s why they have their jobs.

Query: Nationalism is support for your own kind, focused on group identity rather than shared democratic ideals. Patriotism is an allegiance to a creed, a commitment to the ideals of equality and liberty. This election is a test for the US. Will we succumb to the former or uphold the latter?

And why is the news not covering the fact that DT wandered away from the Beast toward a non-existent crowd recently and had to be coralled back by his Secret Service? This is the man with the nuclear codes folks. The man making life and death decisions. #25A

Shola Hoon@sholahoon.bsky.social

but will the entrance of Husted's ass into the "greatest hits" revitalize this last gasp?

And correct me if wrong but was it not THIS admin that demoted nursing from being a profession thereby also making it more difficult to get student loans? Or am I making that up?

Mickey Kuhns@mickeykuhns.bsky.social

Well, ya don't say...

Funny thing: I don't recall hearing any Rs making fun of Vivek Ramaswamy's name. Why is that?

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

JD Vance: "My 6 year old was extremely excited that Ja'marr Chase told him he had nice gloves. So, big day for little 6-year-old Vivek."

We all need to get better informed and recognize that we have the power to change our direction if we are willing to exercise it.

How do you strengthen a constitutional democracy? Three Steven M. Polan Fellows in Constitutional Law and History share their perspectives.

A party that has shown a clear penchant for supporting sexual assaulters and denigrating and demeaning the women who have suffered for it. Where ARE those Epstein Files? Even those Rs who supported their release have grown quiet, at least in public.

Mickey Kuhns@mickeykuhns.bsky.social

Paraphrasing dirtbag Vance…

For any Republican to stand before a camera and talk about commitment to the Constitution is insulting. Voting records that show unwaivering support of this govt's attempts to rescind, bypass or otherwise nullify our rights do not lie.

Abdul El-Sayed@abdulelsayed.bsky.social

For Mike Rogers to bring into question my commitment to the Constitution is beneath him. It's shameful. I'm proud to be an American. I'm proud of our Constitution that guarantees all of us the right to pray as we choose to pray.

Why should they care about a system in which they are not involved? Public servant? Not even close.

Peggy Stuart@peggystuart.bsky.social

Pure, unadulterated sociopathy: Tom Tiffany actually sits there grinning and laughing on stage while his opponent calls out his record of cutting healthcare and doubling premiums for thousands of Wisconsin families. They think your medical financial ruin is a joke.

And oh, how I pray that we grow out of it very soon.

Mrs. Betty Bowers@mrsbettybowers.bsky.social

Every time I hear someone say "Tala-freak-o," it is a reminder that we are currently living in the most juvenile era of American politics.

Time to insist that those we send to make our laws are people of integrity, good character, and are committed to working for we the people. James Talarico is a great start! Texas, do us a solid.

Vivek Ramaswamy's new ad is beyond despicable. With no ideas to run on and no accomplishments beyond “We made everything more expensive!”, GOP candidates seem to have hatched a plan: Let’s just be the most wretched versions of ourselves. My column: www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...

or we desperately need a new president.

On April 23, Donald Trump announced the Lincoln Reflecting Pool would be completely renovated in one to two weeks. Six months later, he’s still going back to this debacle on TruthOptional. He desperately needs new material.

More clear evidence of the complete moral bankruptcy of this administration.

All of us need to remember that if any of these criminals made money through illegal stock trading, they cannot expect immunity from a Trump pardon. All stock trading is subject to the New York state law. State crimes are not pardonable by any president.
