Three little kids and a teacher were shot and killed at their school today in Bend, Oregon. Two more were injured. Our hearts are broken and we’re angry. It’s disgraceful that extremists keep blocking critical, lifesaving laws while kids die in their classrooms. America can do better. It must.

On **Saturday, October 17th,** meet us at **7th and Rangeline** between **11 am and 4 pm** (come and go as you are able). **Bring your signs and stand up for democracy!** Need a sign? No worries, we'll have plenty of supplies for you! **What's different this time around?** No Kings Vote Early focuses on increasing voter turnout and election protection. So come ready to learn about early voting in Missouri and election protection programs available through Indivisible. **What about safety?** As always, Indivisible Joplin requests our attendees seek to de-escalate all conflict. We will have trained Safety Team members in yellow vests on site for the event; please let them know of any safety concerns and feel free to ask them any questions you have! **Where do we park?** Previous No Kings protests have packed out parking lots, so please keep in mind that there are still people trying to work and shop and be respectful of others and their businesses. Do not take parking spots directly in front of businesses if you don’t intend to shop there!
