It REALLY hit me that primarily making digital art has done nothing for my color mixing skills while I was painting this………gotta set aside more time to practice lol

Over the last 7 years @luseals.bsky.social has contributed some joyous characters to our TTRPGs. Next year we’ll be producing the Inspired Edition of INSPIRISLES and adding many more illustrations to the already vibrant pages of the original game. Thanks for your dizzying imagination, Lucille! 🫶🏽

Any other digital artists get bit by the “I’ve GOTTA play with more physical mediums” bug recently? This week I dug all of my art supplies out of storage + ordered some gouache to try out 👀

Finished the Outer Wilds base game (,,: Really beautiful (,,,: I looked up multiple hints/solutions since I’m not the most patient or experimental player, which I don’t necessarily regret. But I do wish I’d done less of that and had pushed to find more of those “aha” moments for myself.

I think another lesson to take from the loss of both Dolly and Tim Curry is that neither of them took themselves seriously but they took the work dead serious that's the most important thing pour all of yourself into the craft but have fun and don't get an ego.

Tim Curry and Dolly Parton have taught us not only that you should be bigger, weirder, gayer, and freakier, but also that those qualities are what people will love about you. The things that make you strange and amazing are the things that will resonate with other strange and amazing people

need content creators to understand that trying to recreate AI slop as a physical product, even with the intent to bash on it, is still using AI slop in their process stop giving it any space ffs

Update after finishing the game: hey if you're the kind of nerd who loves math, science, and linguistics, and if you feel any kind of way about the voyager golden records, then I HIGHLY recommend TMFDS!! Really, really good language decoding game!

Attacks for ~GrapeFruitsArts and ~Lampamel ☀️ Art Fight always reminds me of how much I love painting portraits! It's nice to get up close to a character's face and focus on its shapes and details :)c [ #artfigth #artfight2026 #teamtragedy ]
